Between November to end of March admission to the armoury is only allowed with a guided tour (which is highly recommended) There is just a single tour in English per day (There isn't on Tuesday) which is at 13:00. Entrance fee + guide for an adult is only €11.50. I started off the tour alone and 30 minutes later 2 other people joined. This just gets to show you how personal the tour gets. The displays are spread along 4 storeys and each storey has its own story to tell. Photographs inside the armoury are permitted.

You cannot go to Graz without going to the Armory. It is very easy to find. It is located on Herrengasse right in the middle of the pedestrian area. The museum contains armor and weapons up to 500 years old. It is a must see.

There are 30,000+ pieces of armor, various weapons ,etc.on multiples floors. Nice if you are a military history buff, but a little boring otherwise.

It is the largest medieval armory in the world. It is still in original condition. So no flash allowed.

This museum is amazing in the amount of weaponry and armor on display. I strongly recommend the Audio Tour Guide. I prefer not to use a guided tour group because I like to go at my own pace. There are no descriptions or signs anywhere in the museum, so the Audio Guide was perfect for getting the full experience. Do not pass this up if you are in Graz!

Very interesting armory museum. It is specifically weapons collection from the 15 and 16th century. Helmets, flintlocks, long guns, suits of armor, one even for a horse of which there are very few left, mortars, swords, pikes, and a sabers to name a few. We took the English tour that lasted about one hour and the info was interesting and gave us the history of why the armory was created and how the weapons were used. Recommend the tour and definitely a must see in Graz.

For me these was the best attraction in Graz (and I'm not a weapon fan!!)The Landeszeughaus in a big armory from 15-16 centuries, very well preserved and kept! It's like going back in time, the wooden floors, the low light, and all those equipments!!! You can take an audio guide (that I really recommend) that will make your visit a lot more interesting, since it will tell you all about the armory, and the way it worked, and also about the guns and how they where build!

Amazing collection in 100% condition of armaments used in centuries past. An armoury: a place intact and just waiting for soldiers to come and grab their weapons and leave for the battlefield. From the heaviest broad swords and rapiers and spears to all forms of hand guns, bayonets, long guns, and on and on. Great.

Interesting museum but the staff on each floor seemed to follow us about the whole time we were looking round which was a bit off putting. I understand as you're not allowed to touch anything and we were the only ones in there at the time. Some beautiful weapons and armour but rather samey on all floors. As students we paid €3 but for adults it was €8 and, had i forgotten my student card, i would not have paid that.

The Landeszeughaus is a medieval armory. It's arranged like it would have been 600 years ago. It's not your typical museum with cases and descriptions. Instead, three are row upon row of actual weapons, armor, etc. Very well done and a most impressive collection -- highly recommended.

Features the largest collection of 1500-1800 Armour. Very impressive. Prefer to use a guided tour if you can its worth it.

This is a must see attraction in Graz InnerStadt if you are interested in old armor and arms. This is by far the largest and most comprehensive collection of its kind in the world. It is simply breathtaking!

We had some free time this weekend in Graz so we wanted to visit some museum. Landeszeughaus was by accident the closest one and left us absolutely astonished and pleasantly surprised by the amount of armory displayed. Four floors of guns, armors, helmets, pikes, etc. Wow! And there is also nice view of Landhaus from windows of the museum.

If you have visited the Tower of London and the seen the armoury, well this is a cheaper but bigger version. Armoury from 15th to the 19th century spread over 3 floors

This collection of weapons and suits-of-armor is impressive. Spread out over 4 floors, this should be a must-see for every Graz visitor. The location in the middle of the pedestrian zone is convenient and one can spend as little as 20 min or hours and hours studying all the details on display.
