Great little bar, for an aperitif and then for after dinner drinks. Paul, Martin and their staff are the perfect hosts nothing is too much trouble. Definitely worth a visit, we will going back next time we are in Molyvos.

I am not usually a bar-loving person by any means, but this place is somehow different. We have visited Molivos 4 times now and have been visting Molly's Bar for 3 of those years. We have become early pre-dinner visitors usually just popping in for a couple of drinks and a chat with Paul and Martin who amazingly seem to be able to remember previous visitors. However, it is one of those places which attracts all sorts of folk from all over the world (as well as locals, ex-pats, and repeat-visitors) who are ready to have great conversations, so you can find yourself staying longer than intended.If you prefer to be outside then there is a little balcony at the back with a nice view of the harbour, the sea and over to Petra. Inside is small, but nicely planned with plenty of seating. There is sometimes live music later on in the evening (not my thing, but it is usually popular so must be good). The rest of the time you can listen to all sorts/any sort of music and watch accompanying videos on screen. Requests are welcome.Prices are good, cocktails yummy and the bar, toilets and the glasses are always clean.

Love this bar. Great from of the harbour from the balcony in the evening. They also had Somersby Cider which is hard to find on the island. The staff are really friendly and the music is great. One of the best bars in Molyvos!

We found Mollys Bar the first year we visited Molyvos (we've notched up seven years so far!) and instantly fell in love with its location and relaxed feel.It literally has something for everyone. If you prefer a quiet drink on the balcony with amazing views of the harbour as the sun sets, then it definitely delivers! If you want great music (they have a huge collection of music from all eras and often brilliant live Greek music), delicious cocktails, a fantastic atmosphere and more often than not a little dancing!, then it ticks all the boxes.The service is always top notch and the bar team make everyone feel welcome and at home. We've made lots and lots of friends here over the years, and look forward to making many more.I suppose the best recommendation is that we go back year after year, and love it every time - all I will say is if you don't visit Mollys Bar you're missing out :)

You can't help but wander by Molly's Bar on your way into the harbour area. We called in for a pre dinner cocktail watching the sunset and enjoyed it so much we returned for late drinks after we ate. Anytime is the perfect time to call into Molly's. The music is nostalgic and brings back so many memories. Genuinely friendly hosts, warmly welcoming to everyone.We made some good friends in this bar. We stayed in Petra but travelled into Molyvos a lot. Always dropping in to Molly's for yet another Mojito!Go! See for yourself. - I guarantee you will not be disappointed.

We have been coming to the island for 7 years now, and were recommended to visit Molly's on our first stay - we've never looked back! Molly's is a fun bar with the friendliest hosts, great music (catering for varied tastes isn't easy) the best cocktails and amazing views! We've made a point of visiting at least once per trip since then, and always received the same warm welcome (even when we turned up as a mob!).Can't praise this highly enough and hope that everyone at least gives it a try!!!

Sorry, but me and my friends and family have nothing but prise for that little bar. welcomed with open arms and always reserved the tables on the balcony for us all no problem. although we did have to pay twice, then again, and again. but that was at the end of the night for each time we were there. Paul and Martin work their socks off all night every night to accommodate everyone, ensuring a good time is had by all. nothing is too much for them. I think you were sadly mistaken you don't know know taste and class if it smacked you in the face. There's a big molly's family you will have upset by your comments.

Molly's bar is definitely one of the very best, bars that you could possibly end up, in the island of Lesvos. Nice and lovely drinks, with the unique glimpse that only Molly's bar is able to provide. The owners of that cozy bar, are willing to help you or chat with you anytime, even if the bar it is so crowed to do so. The atmosphere is always friendly and makes you feel more than comfortable. The music, is really fascinating with classic song that we all loved and know. There is always the chance though to hear the song of your preferation, by just asking it from Martin or Paul. The drinks price are more than reasonable, but they maintain always the good quality and the great taste. It would be lovely then to sit at the balcony side that Molly's bar also offers, and travel within the colours of the sunset or the view of the Aegean to another magical world in the same time that you are enjoying your drink or coctail. I have been visiting Molly's over three years now, and there was not a single complain never. It is a fact that you should definitely visit Molly's for a great night and a great experience. You can have your drinks, sing or even dance also! I suggest it to you undoubtedly.

We were on the first charter into Lesvos that year . It was a dark evening in April almost Easter and we were gathered in Molly 's Bar as the wind blew outside and the moon rose over the harbour of Molyvos . . The first night of the season and travellers and locals swopped stories and gossip as we sipped drinks and made friends . What a place ! Vinyls lined the ceiling , chairs and tables the blue of Greece , music to dance to , familiar faces from years before , new arrivals starting their new life in Lesvos , Old friends and new , and behind the bar those magicians Paul and Martin magnificent hosts and Mojhitos to rival the best in the world .

Fun, friendly, reasonably priced drinks (including delicious cocktails), and a wonderful atmosphere. An eclectic range of music to cater for all tastes, interspersed with various video funnies, old and new. The bar is frequented by locals and tourists alike, and many's the evening which has ended in dancing or a singalong. Lovely views across the bay from the balcony, but cosy inside on chillier evenings. Definitely a must for anyone visiting Molyvos.

The best place to be and the owners are amazing and lovely. Do not take reviews that say you cannot use the toilets or you are charged twice. Utterly ridiculous, go there and see for yourself you will not be disappointed. Molly's bar has made our holiday special for years xxx

A trip to Molyvos is not complete without a visit to Molly's bar. The warm welcome and hospitality of the owners Paul and Martin is second to none. It is difficult to understand the comments made previously by Boniface, and I have to say quite unbelievable. In all the years we have visited Molyvos, and Molly's bar, we have never seen any unpleasantness from either of the owners. We have even seen then smile when people have left and "convieniently forgotten" to pay their bill.They play an eclectic mix of music, and are always happy to accomodate requests. An evening at the harbour is never complete without drinks on the balcony, making new friends, and catching up on local news with Paul and Martin. The cocktails are wonderful, and even the Mythos is on draught now. They sometimes have live music on also, which is well worth hearing. I would recommend Molly's bar to anyone visiting Molyvos as it is probably the best bar around. Sit and enjoy a cocktail while the sunsets in the distance. And by the way.... the toilets are free!
