After 30 min of a beautiful walk along the wild north coast, Mikro Seitani is like a nice surprise: small beach surrounded by rocks where you can snorkel without having to go far at all. There is not much shade so make sure you arrive early, but for what have seen in the middle of July, it doesn't get crowded, so you will always find a nice spot!Although, the best spot is taken by the few nudists, it is still a magic place, on my list of places to come back to...
One of those beaches that actually looks better in photographs than it does when you are there. Closed in by white cliffs, pebbly beach, very hot with no shelter. Water clear and swimming good if you avoid the rocky shelf. It was quite busy when we were there so not as remote as I'd hoped it would be after half an hour's walk from the end of the track.
We took the car a little bit up the hill and left it there so the walk wasn't as long. It still took about 40 minutes to get to the beach! There is some shade so the hike is not as bad. Even though the beach is secluded there were some people ! ( Secluded but not lonely!)Water is really clear and not much trash lying around !I didnt have the chance to go to Marco Beach which takes another walk from Mikro Seitani but it's supposed to be even prettier !
If you fancy a good hike and a peaceful day at a secluded beach, this is your place. At the time of my visit, water was icy cold, but absolutely lovely after a sweaty walk to the beach. It is a beautiful small pebbly beach with pristine clear water surrounded by hill (or mountains). Have a picnic there, go for a swim and enjoy! Just to note that there might be nudists on this beach so if you are not comfortable with it, think twice if hiking there.
This is not the easiest place on Samos to get to but it is worth every dirt road, goat path and footstep to get here. When you do finally get here after hiking for 20-30 minutes all you want to do is dive into the clear blue water. Be sure to explore the nooks and crannies around the beach as you will find all kinds of small caves and beautiful pools of water. Nothing here but water and a beach. Just as it should be.
Really beautiful small beach with wonderfull crystal water, but go ahead to macro seitani, it paradise! 1 hour walking more, but you'll love it. Bring your own water/and food. No tavern/bars. Put comfortable shoes.
a must do walk for a swim, take your sneakers and a bottle of water. the natural beauty and clear water will reimburse your efford.
I love this beach! It's beautiful and worth while. My friends and I took our boat from Karlovasi to Mikro Setani. Definitely worth it!
The most beautiful beach I have ever seen! About 2 km from Potami beach by the forest. It was so much fun in those huge waves.
Like others have said, the beach itself may not be the most beautiful, pristine, sandy beach in the Greek Isles, but getting to Mikro Seitani was a lovely walk through old olive groves with spectacular views of the Aegean along the way. It was an easy walk from Potami Beach that we completed in under an hour and we easily spent a couple of hours at the beach relaxing.
Paradise on earth. This little hidden beach is in the north coast of Samos island. You need to walk through a path to reach it.
Fantastic place to visit after a nice walk after the potami beach. Path could be a bit challenging to find so make sure you get advice from locals before u set off.
This is a beautful beach only reached by foot or boat. The hike to reach it is about an hour and a half, and has scenic views from high up on the trail. The trail is fairly easy through olive trees and pine forest. Best to go early in the morning as there is little sun early, on a day without wind and take plenty of water and perhaps lunch or a snack. The return hike can be pretty hot as it is on the western part of the island and many parts are in full sun. For the very fit there is a continuing trail to Megalo Seitani a large sand beach which is beautiful but not as picturesque as Mikro Seitani which has beautiful rock formations.
A fantastic, secret beach with crystal clear water! A wonderful place to be! You have to walk through a natural long path to reach it.
A short walk from Potami beach. Quiet, clean, natural!
