Komi Beach is an organized beach with a lot of cafes and tavernas. A good combination with a visit to Mastic villages that are located also in the North part of the island.

I have spent all my summers us a child and do so even now with my son. I regret when Greek people say bad things about Komi . It Wolf ne better for us if they don't come again and pollute our wonderful beach!!

The sea was nice but quite busy. Unfortunately there are not many umbrellas and you will have to bring your own if you need shade. Parking the car was an issue, not many free spots and a lot of confusion with all the drivers going around looking where to leave the car.Although there were winds blowing from the north, the waters were not that clean.

When we were there, there are very big waves. Nices to swim in the sea. The food and drinks were also very fine. Free beds and parasols.

Beautiful water; Soft sand--with the occasional rocks, pebbles; Young crowd, with the Kafenios playing good music

Calm sea and nice beach to stay with family and friends with good infrastructure provided by restaurants along the shore.

Komi beach is very close to Emporios Bay (2 km) and around 23 km to Chios center.It is a sandy beach, with shades and showers available, with a number of small shops for every basic need and and a number of cafe/restaurant to feed your hunger. My experience shows special concentration of younger crowd (under 30 or 25) during the weekend. Also during this time due to a couple of the cafe/restaurants closer to the start of the beach, it gets loud. But as almost anywhere on Chios (may be all around in summer places on East Mediterrean), life does not really start until 10:0 am. During weekdays though, the pciture reverses and quiete comes back.

I ve been in Chios several times last summer(2013) went to many places and beachs but this is most quiet one also cheaper than others.There couple of restaurant on beach prices are reasonable also free wifi.When you rent a car its about 20km away from port kust before the famous emperior beach..Give a try..

The sea was not particularly clean and the place was crowded with people. None of the beach bars were worth noting.

One of the few sandy beaches in Chios.Very nice for children also. If you don't like the organised part with the umbrellas, bring your own and stay near to the little port at the edge of the beach. Eat at "Karavela" and have a cold coffee and a delicious chocolate pie at "Glykantiri"

Great beach, about a 10 minutes drive from town. Has a nice restaurant too! costs 30TL to get in, but you can spend your whole day there.

One of the rare sand beaches of the island of Chios, however, full with cafeterias and taverns. It s a good place only for those who like crowded places and a lot of noise.

It's a nice, large beach, probably crowded during the season. There are plenty of tavernas with great food. It's a sandy beach with nice water.
