This is a nice little place with view to the sea. It belongs to a couple moved from the UK. It's a place where you can have a tasty coktail, watch a game (they have Sky UK), be it football or tennis.The atmosphere, the view are wonderful, and the staff is very friendly. I would definitely come back here.

Lovely friendly pub in a lovely location, we called in a couple of nights whilst in Sissi, as it was October entertainment was limited,but we were lucky enough to get to see Whisky in the Jar a great entertainer and very talented, even the owners Danielle, Dave and barman George made appearance as a comical ZZ top which made us laugh out load, it's a popular bar with the locals who make the atmosphere good fun. You will enjoy a good night in the Jolly Roger, well done guys loved it.

We were walking along the front and came across the Jolly Roger. Had a couple of beers and it was really nice, the owner (lady) came and spoke to us, and the cats put on a little show. It is a freindly and fun place. Try it.

Our 3rd visit to Sissi and the Jolly Roger continues to provide cracking nights of fun and great priced drinks. Great for a stop by drink on the way out to eat or few more after a meal, brilliant hosts in Danielle and Dave plus of course the wonderful George. Live music provided by Whiskey in the Jar was superb, providing a great party feel. Will of course re-visit on our next Sissi holiday, wouldn't be the same without the Jolly Roger late nights + a few shots of Chocolate Tequila....mmmmmm

No matter who you are or where you are from you will be welcomed into this bar with smiles, great conversation and laughs. You will make holiday friends that you will want to keep in touch with, have cocktails that you try and re-create back home with great disappointment that they never look or taste as good as Danielle's. You will sit sipping your drink with a view that couldn't be more perfect, a view that you miss as soon as you step foot on the plane!Although the bar is English owned over the season I have seen and met so many lovely and interesting people from all around the world come and go, all of which have felt at home and left with big hugs and big smiles on their faces. I can only describe the Jolly as a warm and welcoming place that you have to experience to see my true explanation of perfection in a bar! Maybe you want to party at the live music show on a Saturday night ( and my god it is a show ) or just sit and have a holiday drink the Jolly is the place to go, Welcoming to kids, couples, families and solos, no matter who you are you will feel welcomed and looked after.This place will always have a huge place in my heart from now and forever - Thank you The Jolly Roger - I Love You!

I'll be honest I was a little dubious about going here as the reviews are so good I thought it might be a bit clickly - I couldn't have been more wrong!It was fabulous! Danielle and Dave and the guy that also works there are friendly and make every one feel welcome.The drinks were great, there was always the sport we wanted to see (Rugby League) available on at least one of the TV's and the quiz was SUPERB! Every one who gravitates to this bar seems friendly and up for a chat which made for a great atmosphere and some fun banter!Hats off to Danielle and Dave they work so hard and always have a smile and time to say hello.

Really friendly team in Danielle and Dave. Mostly English customers. The cocktails are great and reasonably priced. Quiz night was a really fun night, this one was Halloween themed in September which was a giggle. The view of the sea is lovely. Sky Sports on, even when they have music on just without the sound which was not a problem.

We went to the Jolly Roger several times during our stay.Dave and Danielle work hard and run an excellent bar. The entertainment was fun, quiz nights, bands and singers and service was quick and efficient.The 'facilities' were clean which was a bonus!We would recommend this bar for a good night out.

Shame we did not find this place until our last night but where very fortunate that it was the monthly pirate night and Diesel and Woody where playing. We had a fantastic time and got to play some instruments with the band and had free chocolate tequila :). It was our best night in Sisi which doesn't really have much in the way of entertainment so if you want a good night out visit the jolly roger and for an even better night hopefully you will get to see Diesel and Woody, the CD is great also :)

Can't review as quite regretfully we didn't pop in however we were staying right next door as the castello village and every night we said that we would nip In for a drink as were always looking for somewhere nice n freindly to stay when we come back , can someone help? By the way the band sounded good and everytime we passed early in the morning the lady we saw was always realy pleasant.

This is a lovely bar with a lovely view. The owners are very nice people. It is everything they say. We enjoyed the excellent live music until a sudden rain fall, but fortunately we were about ready to leave already, having enjoyed many good cocktails and other spirits. The quirky decorations are great. Our spot was on the poop deck, as we could see everything. I so recommend this bar when you visit Sissi.

Friendliest staff (but don't mention Tony Pulis haha) great clientele, cocktail list as long as your arm, hilarious quizzes and fantastic music from Diesel & Woody, Whiskey in the Jar & Zoe. This place has everything including a lovely sea view and a full English in the morning if you can make it back! If you're in luck, there may be some chocolate tequila around but there is always a v warm welcome! Great characters at this place - Dave, Daniele & George work their socks off and it is reflected by the v happy (tipsy) tourists :) see you next year!

Friendly place with entertainment and great snack food in the day. The owners are lovely and make a visit there a pleasure.

Great live music and chilled atmosphere, a short walk from the main strip along the sea front. Well worth a visit

My family and I found the Jolly Roger on our first night in Sissi. We found it to be very welcoming and family friendly. We had arrived on the Saturday and playing that night was two performer who had moved to Crete from the UK know as 'Diesel and Woody featuring Whiskey in a jar' (look them up on Facebook) who were simply amazing and took the night by storm. The owner Dave and Daniele are lovely and always there to provide a laugh or simple information about the town. One of the other workers George is a lovely man from Holland who is willing to help and have fascinating chats with. Definitely go and check the place out, you will never want to leave. :)
