prassa beach

We were extremely excited when we arrived at Prassa Beach. We didn't visit any other beach on Kimolos. The postcard turquoise water was so clear that you could easily see all the way to the bottom, even when it got deeper (the water in general is quite shallow). Even as you stand just with your feet in the water, little fish would come up and brush against your ankles. There was also some rocky areas where the snorkeling was great. Heaps of fish life. The water was also nice and warm. The sand is very light coloured and the beach lounges and umbrellas in good condition, right by the water. The canteen is basic, but serves snacks and drinks. We stayed here relaxing for many hours and were extremely content. One of the best memories of our trip!!

We stayed in chorio and had no car but caught a taxi to this beach. With tip came to under 10 eoros from chorio. I like deserted beaches so at first did not like look of beach beds. However if you turn right there is a tiny private beach on white sand. We walked back using the old donkey track which.took two hours. Bliss!

Exceptionnal White sand . nice view to Poliegos and a large bay .very quite even in July , and you also can choose the part of the beach which is private with beach' s beds . quiet . no music … the color of the sea is blue , green , etc … like in virgin Islands

The Best beach of the island,white sand and crystal water,so peaceful that is the ideal place for the absolute relaxation.

Truely the nicest beach on the island. Popular among the Greek tourists. There is a little bar on the beach and they rent sunbeds and umbrellas for €5,00 entire day. Next to this little bar where they serve drinks and snacks there are no facilities, such as a toilet/shower. When sunbeds are all occupied or you would like visiting other beaches you would need an umbrella, which you can but at the supermarked! You surely will need one in summer. Perfect beach with crystal clear water and white sand. The bar is good and there is nice background music! Favourite place of the island to me!

Beach fantastic with white sand and very clear waters. The complete setting is unreal as the beach itself is out of time. One small island -parsons I -makes a nice combination with the beach. The definition of relaxing. To get there you have to travel through road that is not all the way asphalt nevertheless it is of decent state - yes you can use your family car. I promise you will never want to leave this beach. This is how I felt. You can reach this beach easily by milos , Polonia village as there is a ferry that travels multiple times per day and is very cheap.

You definitely need to visit this beach.White sand, a nice beach bar, crystal clear waters, protected from North winds.

Superb beach. Not that easy to get to but well worth the effort. The sea is very clean and the beach white sand. There are sub loungers and umbrellas so you can be in the shade. Bring your own towels,

This beach will give you blue waters and white sandy beach, is on the edge of the island and is the most touristic.

Πολυ ομορφη παραλια! Παω καθε χρονο! Ειναι παγωμενα και καθαρα τα νερα της, εχει καντινα ωστε αν χρειαστείς κατι μπορείς να το βρεις! Το μονο κακο ειναι η προσβαση εκει..δλδ ειναι χαλια ο δρομος και θελει πολυ προσοχη και δεν εχει καθολου σημα το κινητο!

Τα πρασσα ειναι μια μοναδικη παραλια με εκπληκτικό γεωλογικο ενδιαφερον!! Κατασπροι λευκοξ λόφοι απο μπετονιτη δημιουργουν ενα σπανιο φυσικο τοπιο που δεν ειχα δει ποτε αλλου στη ζωη μου! Τα νερα γαλαζιπρασινα και τιρκουαζ και η άμμος λευκη σαν κιμωλία!!! Πολυ ωραιο και το μικρο beach bar! Θα την αναπολειτε καθε φορα που θα πλησιαζει το καλοκαιρακι!

ασπρι αμουδια με τα τρικουαζ νερα σε αποπλανουν γι ατελιοτεσ ωρεσ απολαυσισ... ατελιοτι ομορφια παραδινεσε στη φυση........

Waarschijnlijk in het hoogseizoen erg druk, maar nu (eind september) uitgestorven. Alle gelegenheden waren gesloten, maar prima zwemwater.

La spiaggia di Prassa è una delle più famose di tutta la Grecia e l'attrazione principale di Kimolos. Situata appena sotto le miniere di perlite, questa spiaggia ha una soffice sabbia bianca e mare di una trasparenza unica. Presenta un bar e ha a disposizione anche ombrelloni e lettini. In agosto è presa d'assalto, specie dai pendolari giornalieri provenienti da Milos, che appena sbarcano a Psathy, si dirigono tutti verso Prassa. Tutto questo la rende un po' troppo movimentata rispetto al resto delle spiagge di Kimolos. Resta comunque una spiaggia da vedere almeno una volta nella vita.

Nonostante che il mare e le spiaggie siano tutte belle in grecia Prassa ha un fascino maggiore rispetto ad altre, in quanto dopo aver percorso per qualche km una stradina sterrata , dopo l, ultima curva ti trovi davanti un panorama che ti lascia per un po senza fiato.Una baia con una sabbia bianca ed un colore turchese di acqua che pensi quasi ad una piscina!!! Acqua trasparente e cristallina. Andateci !!
