Again we see the problem is the money. If your girls were such good riders as you say and the sea was calm it is impossible that they did not go in the sea, plus the photos are not put on the site 6 hours after the tour but only online the next day. But it seems the mane problem was paying for a taxi and for the horse ride.Also to say we took them to different places than the places on the photos on our gallery is the proof you are really wrong or badly inform , just compare the pictures of the day they came to others days , we do the same tour everyday To actually call this activity a rip off is just showing how just a very few of our clients , by looking at all our reviews,were not happy about their time with us , if you have a problem with spending 55 euros for an activity you should just stay in bed instead of making up stories , no even been on the ride yourself.A great holiday memory,A dream come true!, Unique experience , not to be missed , Excellent moment , If you only ride once,do it here , 95 comentaries like this , only one question , are all these peoples wrong ?

The morning ride was the highlight of our holiday. I recently fractured my knee and was concerned but I was competently shown how to manage and control my horse which gave me the confidence I needed. I haven't ridden for over 15 yrs but I thoroughly enjoyed the ride. Riding on the beach and in the sea was amazing and an experience not to be missed. Definitely need the high factor cream even in October. Extremely well mannered and schooled horses and ponies. It's a must do.

Did the morning tour with Ivan and a small group of riders. Wonderful experience. Rode into the sea and got wet, saw some great scenery. A really unique experience. Excellent value.Neither my other half nor I has much riding experience but we were given nice placid horses and plenty of advice. Managed to get up to a bit of a canter by the end. Lovely long ride around too all along the coast which was great.No real negatives. Ivan's chat seems to be on autopilot sometimes! I must have said three times that we don't drive and he was still telling us good places to drive to. Lol. I'd sooner hear about the history of the area or geology of rock formation. But then I am a bit of a geek.Practicals: Be honest if you don't know what you're doing. They will help. Plus you'll get a "western saddle" which means there's a handle to hold on to rather than just using your legs.They can pick/drop you from hotel in Naossa for a few euros if you ask.Ivan/guide will take pictures, no point taking a camera unless its waterproof. In fact no point taking anything with you at all.But you can leave your bag at the stable so worth taking photos around the place before/after.Sun cream a must.They provide Crocs in all sizes if you don't want to get your shoes wet.You will feel very dusty when you get back so a shower/swim in the sea to clean off is good. I wouldn't advise heading straight to the airport, etc.If you're a bit of a novice your knees will hurt after but just take your time and they'll be ok in ten mins or so.We were warned to expect thigh ache afterward but didn't notice myself. Benefit of hindsight, a little Vaseline between my butt cheeks would have stopped chaffing!Ok enough info. Highly recommended, a very memorable holiday experience.

This is a great way to see remote and secluded parts of the island while on horseback. The horses are well behaved and enjoy their work. I feel the price is very reasonable. I am not sure how enjoyable it would be for a first time rider, and some reviewers certainly seem to have "over protective parent syndrome" so I personally would not encourage inexperienced children, but on my ride this wasn't a problem thankfully and I think all of us had ridden before. It was good to have a choice of saddles. A lovely start to the day!

Wonderful experience swimming with the horses in the sea. Great that we could do some faster paces for the more experienced riders. Only wish we could have stayed in the sea longer or visited another beach! Otherwise incredible views and worth every penny :)

I get your review , you are the family that where very unpleasant with all our staff. From the start 55 euros was to expensive for you , not our fault you came as a family thus needing 4 horses. You were very rude , made our guides cry ,rude with my wife when the guides tried to give you the phone to talk to her, that you refused to talk to , and I'm sorry but I never saw you not being there that morning.You wanted your money back so again your problem was the $ . We gave you a discount that was much more than what you have mentionned and we where polite . It is sad that you judge our girls , that started riding before they could walk , that had to endure your rudness , because madam your kids actually loved the ride , you where the one that created the bad atmosphere on that tour , read the other reviews , if you come to us with a bad attitude our job is to give you a horse ride , not getting insulted by rude clients.

Unforgettable. The only problem with Kokou is that, once you go on one of Ivan's tours, any other riding is an anti-climax. The combination of countryside, beach and sea is unbeatable; Ivan, the French Canadian owner (and honorary Parian after 20+ years on the island) is a mine of information about the island and has a wicked sense of humour; the horses are beautifully cared for and incredibly well-schooled. All in all, a superb way to see an aspect of Paros which would otherwise remain hidden from the run-of-the-mill tourist. The prices are very fair: my advice is, if your budget is tight, have a couple of drinks fewer in the evening and spend your money here; if not, come often.

Great experience to ride into the sea and 'swim' with the horses. We went I the morning trek and while it was good it was perhaps a bit too long. Still thoroughly enjoyed our time though.
