A nice family friendly beach, with great waters, beautiful sands, and bars and restaurants on sites. Sun chairs are available for rent but tgats like at all beaches, and you can find some of the best traditional seafood in restaurants leading up to and on the beach. There are plenty of facilities on site so need to worry.
Good for children, good for everyone.. Even for the goats of the mountains. Tsambika is a idyllic beach situated in the middle of nowhere.. Also here is no hotels, only a supermarket and some restaurant. Make it a visit, beautiful water and golden sand!
If you like the beach, good sandy beach with plenty of facilities nearby. We were staying nearby and although we prefer pools, this beach was well worth a visit.
This is a great clean beach worth travelling to.You can enjoy sunbathing or doing water sports. Bars on the beach too.
This is very nice sandy beach with shallow sea. A little bit crowded but not critically. The cheap umbrellas and restaurants with reasonable price.
nice sand beach, with good clean accomodations like showers, and toillets. The beach restaurants serves good food.First to visit the small chapel on top of the mountain. After climbing the 280 stairs You will have a marvelous view over this part of Rhodos and it is nice to refresh yourself at this beach.
The clear water and the beautiful surrounding make this beach excellent for swimming and relaxing. Don't miss the nearby Tsambika monastery from which you can see a picturesque view of the beach.
This is one of the best sandiest beaches on the Island of Rhodes. Off the Lindos to Rhodes main road passing a few tavernas on the way and there in front of you is a nice expanse of sandy beach. Parking is easy and then its a short stroll across the sand or wooden walkways (when the sands too hot) to the sunbeds which this year for two sunbeds and an umbrella was 8 euros. If you want beds as close to the beach then you have top arrive reasonably early. We always park by Marias taverna which is one of 4 small beachside tavernas providing hot and cold snacks and refreshments. We also use this establishment to dine at and the food is always nicely cooked and reasonably priced. I think the others are of a similar vein. There is watersports galore on this beach if you wish to indulge and this year there was a water assault course. The step into the sea is nice and easy with no sharp stiones and rocks and it shelves gently as you walk out or swim out. I was still up to my chest after about 70 metres so its nice and safe for children to play in. There are showers, toilets and changing facilities dotted along the beach.
This beach is so beautiful and peaceful so different from other touristy beaches. It's sandy and has a few shacks on the beach
One of the best beaches on Rhodes. Just beautiful, nothing else to say. Not too croudy, nice white sand, surrounded by beautiful clifs.
A really nice sandy beach with a range of water attractions (including flying!), nice beach bar with a parrot who says "Hello!" when you pass by.
A stunning beach on Rhodes, excellent for a day visit. Lovely taverna right on the beach.Ensure you take the time to talk to the old Greek lady who hires out the sun beds. She is a lovely lady and well worth a chat.
Easily reachable from Kolimbia (bus and taxi) and better than Kolimbia Beach. Sand rather than shingle, and more gently shelving than Kolimbia. Bars, loos, watersports. Some small fish visible in shallows. If you are in Kolimbia, well worth a visit. Free parking, 8 euros for 2 sunbeds (padded) and shade.
A good sandy beach in a nice location and quite busy... We also stopped here for a swim off the boat with Rizos Cruise which I would highly recommend.
Plenty of places to eat and do. The waterpark adventure is great fun however found the jet skiing far to expensive. Plenty of parking and sunbeds not bad price.
