希罗德.阿迪库斯音乐厅（THEATRE OF HEROD ATTICUS），这个音乐厅还在开放使用中，夏季时常常会有音乐会在这里举行。 音乐厅内部，相当宏伟。

参观的时候刚好遇到当地工作人员正在给当晚的音乐会试音，如果不是因为当天就要返回中国，我一定想要去听一听这个音乐会，在有百年以上历史的建筑里，听美好的音乐这种经历一定会让人难忘的。

Would love to see a show or attend a concert in this amphitheatre if for no other reason than the setting. This whole experience is like reading a history book with live pictures. You just have to see this stuff. No way to adequately describe it.

You can view this when going up to parthenon. To see it from the top. Or you can pass by Dionysiou Areopagitou road and view it from below.

Originally built in 161AD, this odeum lasted only a century before it was destroyed.However, it was lovingly reconstructed in the 1950's and nowadays it really shines as a central stage for musical performance.If you can plan your visit to combine a concert there - do it. Otherwise, simply admire the combination of ancient and new from the Acropolis.It is included with the ticket to the Acropolis.

Best to see when you can sit and in joy a show,singing or music. Great to look at better to see and hear a show!

The history, the sounds, the views..a must go with full moon..choose an opera or a music concert and you will never forget this experience

It is seen from Acropolis very famous artists perform every year.Be sure to book an event while you are traveling to Athens ,tickets are always affordable in contrast with the rest of the world.The ancient theater will pay you back!!

A lovely sight, lovingly renovated which looks now just like the real thing. It's just too bad the ampitheatre was closed-it would have been lovely to go have a look in detail at such a magnificent sight instead of from a distance atop the Acropolis or through iron railings.

This homage to to the wife of Herodes Atticus held 5000 people in its heyday is is still used for the Athens Festival and other performances, which I'd love to attend. It was closed when I was there, but I got a good view from below and from the Acropolis.

We saw this from the top, midway up the acropolis. The site is really well preserved and all you need is a little imagination to transport you to the past! Loved this.

This place is one of the top showcases of Athens, and with good reason too. The odeon is best-seen from the top (walk along the south side of the Acropolis), or from the bottom where the gates are locked (you can see the Odeon from the outside there).

beautiful viewed either from above or below. you can just imagine watching a show there. many a picture opportunity and if viewed from above you can see the city of Athens in the background.

When at the Acropolis make sure you take the path to the southern end of the site. This will lead you to the theatre at the base of the Acropolis. Take the time to walk around the theatre and it is a great spot to take photos with the Pantheon in the background.
