The beach is small but lovely, crystal clear water, very enjoyable for a full day stay, close to two good restaurants. The other Kalamitsi beach is 15min uphill to the east and we enjoyed that one as well :)

This beach deserves highest grade because of finest white sand and crystal clear water, but in high season I would not recommend it.

We visited Kalamitsi camping and had an amazing time. Totally children friendly, very organized. Water is a beed deep for smaller kids and wavy most of the time, but truly a great place to visit.

Although most beaches at Sithonia are beautiful, we were very disappointed during our summer holidays at Sithonia: almost any beach (we visited min. 12 different beaches!) has numbers of loudspeakers on the beach, playing permanent techno beats: takketakketak, tikketikketik and-so-on. You will always hear two sounds at the same time: the one of 'your' beach and the one of the neighbour's beach. It is really terrible.Sometimes we asked people if they enjoyed hearing that sound. Mostly they answered 'nó, but what can we do on it... '.We even spoke with one of the owners. He got angry and said 'it is MY beach'. Very stupid behaviour.

The inlet is very beautiful. The beach bars are nice. there were too many people but it is not crowded.

If you love the sea this is a must-visit this beach bar!!! The sea is clean, beautiful blue and the place is magical, with a small island to swim to, clear water. Chica beach bar was our favorite option to spend the time. The service is surprisingly fast and very friendly

If You can, do not miss this lovely place. I was here with my wife. I visited many places in Greece for last 20 years. My opinion is Kalamitsi is one of the best beaches in Greece. Enjoy!

Pleasantly surprised by this beach. We took a scooter here from Sarti. The ride is quite pleasant along a twisty road with some interesting rock formations, beehives, goatherder's huts, scenic views, etc. The beach itself is great - clean, plenty of umbrellas, much less crowded than the beaches in Sarti. At night the beach and chairs in front of the little island are virtually deserted if you want to go for a late night dip.

Went there for a quick stop during my cycling tour of Sithonia.The beach is well organized and the water was clean.Enjoy!

Wonderful beach, plenty of seats and umbrellas with the tavernas just buy a drink. Perfect water, perfect sand, octopus drying in the sun waiting for you to drink ouzo!!!DO NOT MISS THIS BEACH

One should be careful about which "Kalamitsi" they mean. There are two beaches next to eachother, one is where the camp site is located while the other is in front of the main village. Public transport stops at the latter and even though both beaches are stunning, the one at the camp site is breath taking.The camp site takes up all space but you can still access the beach without entering the site.Amazing sand, crystal clear waters, beautiful colors. There are times when BIG waves appear at Kalamitsi and when they do, it is an amazing spectacle and also good fun for those who dare to dive!

Used to be a very nice beach. The last couple of yrs I noticed suspect bubbles floating on the water. For me its sewage contamination so if you insist swimming in this beach get out of the water when you see bubbles, its not detergent. Greeks can't get it right with sewage treatment plants.

Sandy beach, with a small island to swim to, clear water. Chica beach bar was our favorite option to spend the time.

it is very nice beach, but overcrowded...you can find a lot small nicer beaches. Try giros at Dimitris taverna on the beach:-)
