还不错,今天又去买了一个熊回来。很开心!上一次来是去年了买了一个熊,今天又去买了一个熊。质量很好全手工!估计圣诞节来德国还会再买一只青蛙。
Of course you are going to want to buy something so plan that in your budget. Line was long to get in because there is a little show that tells you the history of Steiff. Be sure to tell them you are English speaking because they will take you in as a group for the English presentation. Lots of time to play after the show hands on. Watch a bear being stuffed in the classic style. Lots of photo opportunities.
My wife and I visited here in September and spent 90 minutes on the tour and looking through the shop, another 30 minutes would have been good to spend a bit more time walking through and another 30-60 minutes if you're eating there (prices look very reasonable and food looks good). If you have children with you I'd allow another 60 minutes at least as there is a lot to do for all ages but especially children. The children we saw there were having a great time.Parking was free when we were there, the gates opened to let you out without needing a ticket but this may only be on weekends.Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area, it's close to a train station and the autobahn so access is easy.
This is a modern museum and they created a little story to tell the history of the company that is very cute and understandable for kids. It was very well done. We loved the huge stuffed animals that you can sit on and all the stuffed animal scenes. The snake slide is very cool. This little museum exceeded expectations.
This was an optional tour on a coach excursion and we were so glad that we went! It was entertaining as well as interesting and could not help but making you feel happy! We are not that young and loved it - would have loved to have had our grandchildren with us. It is a must if you are in the area!
We visited the Steiff Museum in 2000 and were amazed by the new Museum and shop this year! My daughters and i are collectors, we loved the shop and we all enjoyed the Museum experience!
Fantastic experience, would not have missed it for the world and the bears are fantasticNothing to dislike.
Nice animated exhibition, followed by a free visit to the rest of the museum. Of course, there are soft toys everywhere. In the last section of the museum they present how soft toys are prepared, with two women filling and sewing the Teddy bears. It is a nicely organized exhibition.
Easily reached with car or train..strange architecture and even innovative-interresting introduction to the museum place!Historical and amusement? museum with nice story in a modern building. Although I visited it with young children it was interresting for me too!also with a small bistro with reasonable prices and a teddybear shop for all tastes! Althoug I visited interresting museums also in New-York I could say that it was great for me! Iwould reccomended it for kids-youngs and adults too! Next to it is the real factory producing Teddybears...
3 adults that felt and behaved like children. Ooohing and arrrghing at the wonderful start to the museum experience. I don't want to spoil it for anyone but you really get a chance to feel 10 again. Good value for money. Excellently done and transports you for a little while back to make believe land. Even the husband was hugely impressed. Recommend it from toddlers to recycled teenagers of 75+ a great day out. Plus you get a chance to buy your own steiff. What more could a girl want. Plus visit was in English.
A visit to the Steiff Museum in Giengen Germany is a must for any one who loves fairy tales, and soft toys.. The story of how it all started is beautifully shown, without being boring or to long. We had a glorious few hours and came away with yet more steiff toys. You could go on for ever.
A must on any Steiff collectors list of things to do a three day event with lots to see and do, don't miss Sunday the family day we had a lovely time and was made very welcome. If you can stay at the Lobinger hotel Giengen, really nice place to stay and eat.
From the outside peeking into the " hospital for the bears " prior to entering, we could tell this was going to be a really fun & special place. You start with the story of how Steiff began with Margarette in a cute and sort of animated way, then move into a giant elevator and go up into the clouds still while having more of the story being told to you and end up in a land of giant stuffed animals you can play with, climb on and take pictures with and on. Then there are other areas and floors to explore with other options like scavenger hunt, building a bear head or other option, or a great cafeteria with terrific prices and last but always the best- the store! It has options form a key chain teddy to the largest or most extravagant handmade one of a kind bear!!! Just deciding will take you at least an hour, at least it took my wife that long. But it was a neat place and the kids all around just loved it, definately a must do!
I loved the place, being a big fan of Steiff especially their teddy bears it is a must to see.The set up is very nicely done and we all had a good time there.I also loved the shop and made several purchases. Also the meal in the restaurant was very nice and good value for money.
Wow! We had a wonderful couple of hours wandering through the museum. Didn't feel like 55 year olds at all. From the introduction of Margarette Steiff and how the Steiff Industry began, to travelling in the clouds looking for 3000 lost bears on the TeddyTanic, we were greatly entertained. Thanks to the creative people who created such a wonderful explanation of Margarette, her life and how the bears developed. Very fascinating. Then you wander through the bears of history display, as well as having the opportunity to ride a Unicorn, Elephant and several other large Steiff animals. Take a slide on the Snake to the second floor. You don't have to look young to do it! My wife did it TWICE!Of course you finish up in the sales shop, but that's not so bad. If you'd like to buy one do so . . you only live once!
