Absolutely wonderful for a nature, swimming and food lover as me (and my 14-year son). The water was very warm despite is was the end of September.

Large pool, very clean. Wooden cabins to change in, toilets dotted around, cafés and kiosks. Lots of chairs and loungers. Decking near the sea. A great day out.

The pool , provision for sun bathing and sea swimming were really good. If you plan to go take a swim cap if you have one for the pool or you will be required to pay 3 EUROS for one and given the entry cost, any sun beds and umbrellas are extra it gets expensive.

We spent a very relaxing morning swimming sunbathing and people watching here. 6 euros each to get in and extra if you want an umbrella or lounger; the white plastic chairs are free to use otherwise people lay out their towels and sunbathe on the decking. Steps down into the clear calm Mediterranean make for easy access in an area which is difficult to swim as the coastline is rocky. Lots of locals enjoying the October sunshine and overall we felt the area hadn't changed much in years. Simple, clean and unpretentious with glorious views whist swimming of the Norman castle and the rocks of Ciclopi.

If you like water sports you would not be bored for sure. If you like sandy beaches this is not the place to be. The best is that it never got too crowded.

I do not deny that the rock formations are unique. I do not deny that the sea is beautiful and awe inspiring. But, the general ambience, the lack of signage, the random beach crowds, the rocky coast not friendly for walking on, make this unique coast unsavory for a long stop over. True, go there and take a few pictures. Enjoy, but don't take too much time. In fact if you are limited in time, then prioritze where to spend more quality time.

Smack in the middle of where Polyphemus threw boulders at Odysseus (or Ulysses, as he is also known) - the Faraglioni proudly standing right next to the Lido dei Ciclopi.Wonderful area, amazing sea (water is literally transparent), excellent for groups of friends, couples and small families. Not for a noisy bunch, though - it's one of those spots where people like to relax and enjoy a good day at the sea-side with no music pumping in the back/foreground, no splashing water all over the place etc.Should one find the sea too much, or if it's a windy day, they also have a swimming pool (with sea water).Showers, hot water showers as well, excellently kept toilets.The changing rooms are large and well kept - some are amidst trees and flowers, so they're cooler than those closest to the sea.The bar has very good granitas with brioches - had them every day!Great restaurant with Sicilian specialties, as well, should one care to eat at midday.

This is an area of marine biological interest and is unspoilt. Long may it stay that way. At the weekend, this area is very busy but everyone has the respect it deserves and makes the place a pleasure to.

El lido es un lugar espectacular. Hay restaurantes y locales para pasar el día. Si no se encuentra un lugar en las playas de piedras lo que hicimos nosotros fue alquilar un pedalón por una hora y bañarnos en mar abierto el cual es super tranquilo

Questo lido si presenta elegante come una villa, infatti appena entrati possiamo subito scorgere dei viali con palme e altri arbusti vari molto ben curati. Esso offre, oltre ai soliti lettini e ombrelloni, una fantastica ed enorme piscina, un'area bimbi e, dulcis in fundo, un meraviglioso belvedere sui faraglioni e sul borgo di Acitrezza. Personale molto competente e cordiale!

Lo spettacolo offerto a dicembre con tempo nuvoloso e vento forte è stato affascinante, d'estate sarà sicuramente meglio. Da non perdere.

lido fantastico con piscina all'interno,nota dolente la cucina del pranzo potrebbe migliorare..lido dotato di parcheggio..

trattandosi di meridione una maggiore organizzazione è sempre possibile e auspicabile. ma il folklore ha anche le sue esigenze.

La costa dei "Ciclopi" ci ricorda la mitologia greca e ci fa vivere nello stesso tempo emozioni di un paesaggio ove la natura ha generato un incontro stupendo tra fuoco e acqua.
