This square is delightful, the clock, Golden Fleece statue, old looking very decorative architecture surrounds a walking square in the middle. Coffee shops, restaurants are abundant, although not a lot of shops. Sadly a few beggers, very young moms(?) with tiny children. So much money has gone into the new buildings with lots of trim, no expenses spared, yet still young families go hungry.

This is a nice and historical place to visit very friendly people although it spoils it with the warship docked in the cruise terminal sad to see just a sign of things in the Black Sea don't let this put you off this is a good place to visit and lots of things to see

This square has been redeveloped and contains some of Batumi's attractive modern developments. The statue of Medea holding the Golden Fleece is atop an extremely large column and is very striking.

Don't miss this square if you're in town. The highlight is the column of Medea with the golden fleece. But there's the astrological clock and some attractive buildings too. And it's just a block for the Neptune fountain and the theatre,

We enjoyed just walking around here and in typical tourist fashion taking photographs! It gives the visitor a good sense of modern Batumi . Well worth a visit

Went here on the evening of July 19, 2014 with my wife. Small group of local families with their kids playing in the fountain and listening to music being played by a DJ at a folding table. The old downtown area has been pretty much razed (too bad as by the photos it was quite nice) to make room for a bunch of retro-looking apartment buildings and hotels. That being said; Europe Square is probably the nicest area we have spotted in Batumi. Food vendors and toy peddlers make it a good spot to watch the locals and kill a couple of hours. There are plenty of restaurants and cafes in the area if you want to make an evening of it.

it is very small zoo with limited animal on it. most of them is bared. but you can stay on the lake in front of the zoo also you can do fishing as well.

İlginç bir yer, görülmesi de gereken bir yer. Altın Post heykeli de mutlaka görülmeli, mitolojik hikayesinin de mutlaka okunması lazım.

Весьма романтичное место, идеально подходит для ужина или вечернего коктейля. Цены в ресторанах чуть высоковаты, но не сильно.

Оказавшись на этой площади, забываешь, что находишься в Грузии. Место замечательное и очень красивое.

То, куда так хотели грузины, есть у них уже давно! В самом центре Батуми есть замечательная площадь Европы! Красивая, вся в брусчатке, оформлена под старину))) рядом все дома двухэтажные, впечатление - побывала в европейском городе. Кафе по-моему с высокими ценами для Батуми!В целом - погулять отличное место!

Очень симпатичная площадь в центре Батуми. Современная, но сделанная под старинную Европу. С утра здесь можно попить кофе, а вечером посидеть с бокалом вина в приятной обстановке.

Особая красота площади поражает воображение. Тут можно посидеть в уличном кафе и послушать живую музыку.

Самый центр Батуми, а кажется, будто где-нибудь в Европе. Красиво и чисто. Жалею, что не попала туда вечером.

Очень понравилось, что на улице на стендах стоят фотографии домов начала 20 века.Очень похожа на площадь европейского города.Рядом магазины с сувенирами, кафе, ну и до моря 5 минут.
