Signagi is very beautiful and scenting city, a big part of it is renovated, including part of City Walls. We was at many places in Gorgia and Signagi is the most beautiful city that we visited. Signagi is a good place to stay for few days and for trip around.

Arriving to this village you feel like in fairy tales. It's like magic to see the beautiful coloured houses and the people. Is like going back 50 years from now. It's like nothing has changed since then.Sinagi its called The city of Love. I think is a must to go and feel the place, enjoy Eva

The city of Signagi is compeletely remodelished as well as the city walls. Great area to take pictures with no else around. The towers around the city walls are open and most of them in good cobditions after restored. Some of them have the floor in mot perfect conditions, but you still can sept on it. At the bottom part of of the wall (going down the hill and following the wall) there is a restaurant with nice views and average and not over priced food. Worth a visit at the City Walls.

Well worth a visit. Easy to access by walking. Much of it has been restored in sympathy with original or is original. Great views over valley - what a location!

Signagi had been completely restored, which actually means built from scratch. So you can hardly find a piece of actual antique original building from nice-looking 21 century building (not all of the buildings are replicas). However from outside it looks truly amazing - with red roofs above the valley. Inside the town it reminds St Paul of France or Colle di Val d'Elsa of Italy, but of course, to the smaller scale and not that close to the original. But you can definitely enjoy the trip there24 km-long walls with towers are truly impressive

We went here in the late afternoon. The views over the valley are great from the western towers and wall. There's also a little restaurant at the gate at the end on the road to Tsnori. Some of the woodwork and stairs are in so so shape though, but not dangerous.

Signagi City of Love.Is that a nice Town and green area. I like the forest in summer-time,at dawn. The air is sparkling fresh, birds are singing and you feel the dewy grass under your feet. Our city is very green

The best part of this sight is the possibility to climb one of the walls and admire the views over the valley and mountains! It is beautiful!

Definitely worth walking the walls. The town is lovely, and easy to explore on foot. There is also the nearby monastery and spring that is worth going to.

Go there for the view. It is great. The best view is from the road Tbilisi- Signagi, when you see the village at the cliff with the mountains at the background. The winevalley in front of the mountains gives you a special moment.I visited the village in January, so it was very quite. The village is almost completely renovated, what is done is a nice manner. I came by car and that gave me the opportunity to drive the road down the hill to Telavi. Just drive uphill in Singagi through the gate and go the road down: Great views again and a good bad-road- experience. (Be quick'coz they are renovating the road right now).

When I read about "town walls" I conjured up thoughts of walking them (as in and around Dubrovnik or Jerusalem) however that is not the situation and in fact we went went to one tower which gives a good look down into the valley and at parts of the many kilometers of walls. So a place for some good pictures.

MALKYPOO

One of the very few European cities with an intact wall around the town. Take a walk, shoot a few pix, and breath in the history. What stories these walls could tell.
