tour de bridiers

We visited at the end of the season and unfortunately did not see it at its best but still nice to take a break and wander round the gardens and park walks

A little of the beaten trail and drive past it a couple times, but well worth the time! Plan to spend 30-45 minutes (or longer if you are a photographer).

Stumbled across this whilst out walking, it's right by the road. The tower is is great condition and has a medieval garden attached.They do fresco plays in summer (not while I was there) so there's a large open air auditorium and various platforms for the actors. A local advised me that the play is mainly performed by volunteers otherwise it couldn't happen.Great for a short stroll around if there's no play. There is a fee for the tower if it's open, but I wasn't on the day I went

Pour voir que se monument et classée historique je trouve que sa ressemble plus à un jardin d'enfant.Quant a la tour il n'y a rien a voir un conseil passez votre chemin !!

Ce beau donjon a été parfaitement restauré ces dix dernières années et est devenu une promenade fréquentée à La Souterraine. On peut voir également la reproduction d'un jardin médiéval, les ruines de la basse cour et admirer les environs depuis le sommet. Un magnifique spectacle historique est organisé tous les débuts du mois d'août. Ne pas louper.
