After the tour round, the children found it hard to choose what souvenirs to buy as mementos. They also bought small gifts for friends.

Perched in the shadow of an enormous cooling tower is a biodome which is full of crocodiles. There are species from all over the world and the settings in which they are kept are well maintained. The crocodiles don't do a lot except at feeding time. More interesting was the array of plants and trees surrounding the crocodile enclosures. These included many tropical fruit trees. This won't fill a full day but if you take your swimming kit or a pair of socks there is a swimming pool and bowling alley on the other side of the car park.

The crocodile farm is very well done as a self guided visit - if you speak/read French! There are plenty of questions at child height for them to learn about the crocodiles, but only in French. We were there during feeding time, but it's not as spectacular as you would imagine as they really don't eat a lot or often, and given they are fed twice a day, it's interesting but not exciting!It's also very hot and humid (obviously!) so choose a cooler rather than warmer day if you can.

Have two boys, 8 and 5. They asked to come back here this year after seeing the crocodiles last year. Friendly staff (one who is English but lives in France). A couple of hours well spent.As we speak some French, at least we were able to translate some of the 'facts' available - 8 yr old remembered various things from previous year.

Really enjoyed experience, realistic settings, interesting buildings. Could do with English guide book for information boards as kids started getting bored, as we couldn't answer all their questions.

I enjoyed it sort of....never really liking animals in cages it is hard to get past that but nonetheless a worthwhile experience - especially if you purchase tickets online and save a few quid!

Adjacent to a massive power station and leisure centre, La Planete des Crocodiles has an external appearance of a mini Millenium Dome in London. Being fully enclosed, it's a great place to spend some time if the weather is cold or wet. Visitors are guided through different zones where crocodiles and alligators from different regions are kept - and we were surprised by the different size, shapes and colourings of the different species. Look out for the notice boards which advise when the different zones are fed .... well worth watching. For the youngsters, there's a well stocked gift shop to buy souvenirs. Will definitely visit again.

This is a good attractions with lots of different alligators and crocodiles displayed well. It is not big but the walks gave the impression it was bigger and varied. Food and service not the best available but there if you need it.

Set in a country location near the power station at Civeaux This is a good place to visit if raining. The building is interesting and the setting is well done and atmospheric. Though there are only a limited number of crocodiles that you can look at. It is worth a visit.

Nothing happens! How can you train a crocodile? Saw them being fed white fluffy rabbitts!

Well staged with really authentic foliage.Adjacent to separate swimming pool and bowling alley. Bit expensive for a family but a good place on a rainy day.

Voir des crocodiles dans une serre géante, c'était génial! Avec une flore exceptionnelle.Nous nous sommes régalés et l'accueil était sympathique.Une activité que je conseille, et j'y retournerais certainement. C'était fascinant!

A faire plutôt quand il fait frais, l'été ça doit vite monter car c'est une serre géante, la flore est juste exceptionnel et la faune est à voir quand même, les enfants seront ravis, essayer de voir le nourrissage des crocodiles, c'est top

Une visite très sympathique avec un accueil chaleureux. Un dépaysement total. Le repas des jeunes crocodiles à la nurserie ? A ne pas louper. L'équipe du site est très compétente et près à vous donner des indications. Les décors pour chaque espèce sont merveilleux. Ma fille de 3 ans était éblouie devant tous ces crocos.

Très bonne activité que je conseille vivement à petits et grands qui passeraient dans le coin . Une bonne diversité tant de crocodiles et autres reptiles que de plantes tropicales . Des animations sympathiques et ludiques , les animaux sont beaux , et surtout bien en forme contrairement à d'autres types de parc. Si vous avez un moment ,n'hésitez pas à y passer .
