We had 19 in our group and they easily accommodated us, the food was family style and outstanding. The service was second to none and the best value for your money in Warsaw!
Nowy Swiat is really good street for shopping or you may have your coffee in a place on the street, all are nice & luxurious...
Though this is not original, it is charming and they have used older works of art to rebuild it how it once was. Worth a wander.
Just back from another city break weekend with work colleagues. We had a very pleasant time, walking up and down Novy Swiat on the way to and from the old town. Plenty of interest between shops, museums, churches and statues up and down the length of the street. We also ate lunch and dinner in different restaurants on this street, this time around. We also arrived very late on the Friday night, early hours of Saturday morning and were directed to a 24-hour bar here, so that we could get a little refreshment before bed.Would love to visit in the summer months, when I think they close part of the street to traffic and have various markets and entertainment going on.
Nowy Świat in English is New World - and exactly it is a new world :)It's a very trendy and fancy area. Lots of shops, bars and restaurant... Everyone should find a place for themselves here. You should definitely check the Pawilony place out - a secret pub area.
If you want to shop or dine in Warsaw, I recommend you Nowy Swiat. In this street you will find very decent restaurants, like Specjaly Regionalne or Brooklyn Burgers. You will find a lot of clothing stores here. There's a very nice sneaker store too.
This trendy area isn't Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills or the Bahnhoffstrasse in Zurich but it does have an eclectic collection of shops, stores and restaurants. If you're seeing the Old Town, plan on walking down the main street leading south, the Krakowskie Przedmiescie, past the Presidential Palace and into the Nowy Swiat. Had some great pierogi at the Dawne Smaki (New Flavors) Restaurant.Well worth it, and the trams on Al. Jeroolimskie on the south will whisk you back toward your hotel.
The most popular and fancy street in Warsaw. You find here pubs, restaurants, clubs, shops... Basically everything. Beautiful architecture. In vicinity of Uiversity and Old Town. Better to see in the summer as you can sit outside.
A fascinating street that stretches from the Charles de Gaulle Palm Tree roundabout in the new part of Warsaw past beautiful shops, cafes and homes to Old Town Warsaw. Intriguing for a leisurely stroll, to peak in windows, stop for a cup of coffe and a pastry and people watch along the way with no sense of having to get to your next stop on your itinerary.
There's a lot of good pubs and clubs. You should definitely check out Pawilony, a place with different pubs, each and every can impress you with the decor and good selection of beers.
We spent an afternoon walking around the old town in Warsaw and came down this at the end of our time. I was struck by the efforts the Varsovians went to to reconstruct after World War II in a way that preserved their past cultural history. Also struck by the juxtaposition of that with the sheer number of Costas and Cafe Neros (runs into double figures very rapidly!). Fascinating and lovely.
One of the most popular streets in Warsaw, great place during the summer and winter time ( illumination). Perfect place to relax and have talk with friends.
Very easy to walk every where although right on the bus routes. Cafes, bars and restaurants abound and nice shops too.
Here you will find good restaurants and bars. It seems a tourist area with a lot to see here. It stretches about 1km from the charles de gaulle (palm tree) round about to the old town which is the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow! It has wide pavements and was very well decorated and clean. Along this road there are several other attractions, churches, presidential residence, smaller parks and just set off the Nowy Swiat road is the tomb of the unknown soldier. I would recommend getting accommodation near this area as it felt like the base of all activities.
