The garden is well maintained and in the past years the organisers have given a great deal of attention in this respect. The serum section is also quite comprehensive, with a wide variety of tropical plants. It is a very nice place for promenade or just to sit on a bank and relax. A few times a year special flower displays are organised, giving the garden an additional point of attraction.Higly recommended for any tourist.

Botanical Garden of Iasi, located on the hill Copou is an excellent oasis of relaxation of Iasi. Botanical Garden is in the administration of the Faculty of Biology Universtitatii "Alexandru Ioan Cuza".It is a place where back with pleasure when I get and where I relax after exams (at the time a student in Iasi).Whatever the season, the Botanical Garden has its charm.

The first botanic garden in the country, the Botanic Garden ''Anastasie Fatu'' represents not only a place where anyone can find peace due to the beautiful landscapes and relaxing atmosphere created by the variety of flowers and plants, but it has also great scientific importance for those interested in the study of all the species displayed here. The visits and walks in the Garden during the roses or the chrysanthemums exhibitions are not missed by any citizen of Iasi and no tourist in Iasi should miss them either.

Lovely garden , evokes feelings from a time long ago....still needs major investment...but charming nevertheless .Had a lovely lunch with good Rumanian food, at the Expo restaurant , right at the exit from the garden...and take the Tramvai ( the local tram) to go to the garden ( which is part of the Copou garden) in Iasi

This is such a quiet and under appreciated gem in Iasi. I go each time I am in town. It's so beautiful. From the rose gardens to the trees to the landscaping. It's like the garden designers 'paint' with an every changing canvas of colors and textures.

If you visit to Iasi, You should go to Botanical Garden !! You can see thousands kind of plants. Flowers, exotic, cactus, succulent and a lot of kind. Near the botanical garden has beatiful restorant and cafee.

a slice of heaven!there are green houses with so many beautiful flowers the you'll want to move there forever. The Botanic Garden has a big dimension and the big surprise is the lake. Nobody told us that there is a lake too, so seeing wild ducks, fisherman and a huge green space, without a human sound... the similarity to heaven from fairy tales is striking!you'll not regret if you go there.

The Botanic Garden from Iasi is the first botanic garden in Romania since 1856 . If you love the roses well you can find here about 600 of different kinds .In spring ,,summer or even in the winter there is always something to be seen there ....

If you are in Iasi, the gardens are worth a visit, for a stroll down to the lake and to view the array of flowers and greenhouses. You'll probably see a few newly wedded couples having their photos taken in the rose gardens to boot. For 5 lei it is worth it plus the trip up to Copou shows the prettier side of the city.

a fine place for relax, especially in the summer and also in autumn with a lot of plants and beautiful flower. wonderfull place for walking in a calm and peacefull area

i consider it better than the one in the capital, it is not spectacular, but it has alot of plants, flowers and trees and it is perfect for a relaxing walk. the plants are all tagged with names, so you know what you look at, and i find it really nice. it has an entrance fee. it can be visited both inside and outside

It is a nice botanical garden, but not spectacular (as in Cluj). For a relaxing walk 1-2 hours is the perfect place.
