This is a small but beautiful park right in the heart of Bucharest minutes form the Hilton and Radisson. You can spend hours walking around. My Father-in-law spent his youth there in the 40's. There are areas for kids with playgrounds - an aviary and meandering paths around the lakes. You will see large groups, families on picnics and lover walking hand-in-hand. A great place when you are alone to just walk around and contemplate life!
Very nice park for having a walk after a working day. Located in the center of Bucharest, it has many flowers , playing areas for kids and statues. During the winter, there's a large ice rink for skating. Very close to Universitate metro station and a lot of fast-food, restaurants, pubs in the area.
Cismigiu gardens is probably one of the most beautiful parc in Bucharest. Full of romantism, history, and playground for kids. Have a walk there, you will enjoy it.
The oldest park in Bucharest, Cismigiu is a must if you want to go local in Romania's capital. It has many statues, flowers, a special section for chess players and a lot of romantic spots. It's also one of the few green spaces in the center of Bucharest and therefore an excellent stop on a hot summer day.
Their Central Park ! Nice park in the middle of the city center which you can cross to go from one spot to another .
Having had 6 inches of snow overnight, the gardens were turned into a magical wonderland.Just walking through the gardens gave us a great feeling. The photograph options were at every turn. They had a skating rink, which was being well used and everyone in the park seemed to be enjoying themselves. A restaurant was also in the parkWe liked it so much, we went back the next day, to see if we had missed anything.I expect it would also look brilliant in the summer
The spring is coming and this little nice garden is coming back to life! beautiful colored flowers begin to show off their beauty through the snow!
Cismigiu gardens is the place where you cand spend hours and hours without getting bored. great chll atmoshere, lots of tress and the lake, just a few reasons to visit. You can also do the lake tour on a little boat or go have a drink at the bar Biblioteca
The gardens were a 15 minute walk from the K&K Hotel Elisabetha where I was staying. Myself and a friend visited after viewing the nearby Revolution Square. Pros:-Free entry. -Enjoyed by people of all ages. -The park contains several paths, children's play areas, outdoor fitness area. During my visit there was an outdoor ice rink. Cons:-None I can think of.
The Cismigiu Gardens are located in the heart of Bucharest city, close to University square. As a turist, after a long walk on the Bucharest streets you can take a break and relax in the Cismigiu Gardens. You can enjoy a good icecream (in the summer) or a hot tea / a warm wine (in the winter), the children can play in the playground and the parents / grandparents / lovers can sit on a bench and just enjoy the view. If you are visiting Bucharest and you fell a bit tired, just have a walk in the Cismigiu Gardes and you will feel revigorated.
Excellent old garden , best for walk and view. Some restaurant near the lake (also boats for hire). All seasons has theit beauty. Try it!
Nice place for nice relaxing moments. Lovely green in spring and summer, beautiful colors..In winter, the largest ice rink in Bucharest.
It is a nice place, but I have the feeling that it need some work done and improving. I feel like you can't miss it if you are in Bucharest but it is not so breath-taking.
Visited the park again after a very disasppointing visit in1997.The park is green and well tended again and the ponds are clean.A very refreshing visit on a hot summer afternoon.
The park is OK, quite nice with the ponds etc, but it needs some work. The pavements are old, cracked.
