Nine of us arrived for lunch. We hadn't booked but this is not a problem as the food area is so big. It was busy, we queued. The staff were friendly and helpful. We had a variety of snacks, soup, hot meal. All good, good value. The soup is delicious. Tip: At busy times, get your tea or coffee with your main meal, queuing again for it is a bummer. The antiques bit is huge (full of 'we had one of them when I was young' items), there is modern stuff for sale as well. A great place to take your mum.

Great place to visit so much more than a garden centre ,collectables and antiques for every price range ,vintage clothes and more ,will be even better when the building work is finished .

As well as the antique centre there is a variety of retail outlets to browse from handbags to cookware. We visit here regularly and spend a pleasant afternoon usually ending up in the coffee shop with cakes. The coffee by the way is superb. Today we chose lunch and it was very disappointing. We chose macaroni and chips. The chips had been refried or reheated and the macaroni was quite tasteless. We could have just been unlucky as it was really busy. That aside it is a great place to spend an afternoon. There is plenty of parking and very clean toilet facilities.

I love Garrion bridges. Great for a wander and a root in the antiques. Love the contrast also. The new section and the old section. Nice also to stop for a cuppa.

Chose this location for a day trip with my mother-in-law who is in poor health. I had the smoked haddock which was perfectly cooked, delicate and flavorsome. The rest of the family had sausage and chips that they enjoyed. This was washed down with tasty capachinos, all round. Visiting the stands and antiques after the meal, was a highlight. They were simply bursting with color, with interesting items for sale, that should satisfy the most discerning shoppers. My mother-in-law loved the colorful umbrellas. If it's raining outside and you want to go somewhere cheerful, then this is the place to go.

The purpose of my visit was to buy a hat and Garrion Bridges became highly recommended by my friend. The centre sits on a beautiful setting and does a really good coffee and cake. Well I dont really do this, leave reviews but felt the need to after the wonderful experience and service I received from David when purchasing a hat for an up and coming event. I dont do hats never have and never would but this event I had no choice. Sweat pouring off me I entered a well stocked outlet with fear. I told the assistance to whom I got to know as David, I dont suit hats never have and never will. David replied Everybody suits a hat ! You just need to find the right one. I thought this would never happen. David took so much time and made me feel at ease with his somewhat crazy rapport with me ! Asked me event, colour etc etc. He approached me with hats I would NEVER have even lifted up. What can I say got the hat which I LOVE, I now love hats ( well like) and love David with the Glasses and Great Shirt more. All in all a lovely place, well stocked outlets, great for food, gifts and lots more and great FUN day out. And staff well 10/10

Here today for lunch. Not first visit and have experienced this before but did not review. The person serving was terse to the point of being rude. No engagement, no smile, in fact she was so abrupt she was almost nasty. Food average , toastie undercooked, baked potato undercooked. Very disappointing in fact will not go back for food or coffee.

I was advised to visit the center by my friend David Leonard who works there sometimes. I must say what a place to visit its not just a garden center it is so much more than that. The choice of gifts etc available to purchase is fantastic. I spent a good few hours going round everything. I loved the antique center which has a huge ranges of goods to fit any occasion. The hat and scarf shop is a must to visit on problem is you will want to buy everything in it. The restaurant has a great selection of foods etc and you will be spoiled with the choice. The staff within the center all all lovely and helpful and the setting of the place is the cherry on the cake. Great for christmas gifts. So go on dont delay I just wish I had known about it sooner. 10/10

Visited Garrion Bridges again last week only to find a fantastic new cookware department that has everything you would want for your kitchen needs..ideal for wedding/engagement/housewarming gifts. I was also out looking at the newly refurbished garden centre it has beautiful new and interesting stock the staff are so helpful. As always we had our lunch it was all freshly cooked and very good. Always something new to see at Garrion Bridges amazing gift ideas, cards, wrapping and gift bags all under one roof. Amazing facilities for disabled visitors. Very clean toilets and wash area. Well done we really enjoyed our visit The antiques dept is amazing, bright and lots of interesting items to look through. Well worth a visit.

This place is great for the above plus fashion and accessory shopping and has grown in popularity over the last few years. There is a cafeteria inside which has a captive market. However the cost of the food is overpriced when you consider the quality and the price of the smallest pot of tea I have ever seen is frankly risible. Other place s may charge more but the better quality more than compensates for the price differential. In fact it was two separate lunching experiences which stopped me going there, although I will still visit for the browsing/shopping experience. A great pity. With the volume of trade and a captive market there is no incentive to improve .

Unfortunately at the time of your visit one of the ladies who had rented space from us for 8 years was retiring. She moved out on the 30th September. She ran the outside plant area and the space from the entrance door right along and to the right of the walkway. She had piled boxed of stock up, which she kindly donated to Cancer Research, that were waiting to be picked up. We decided to run these areas ourselves and take this opportunity to change round all the areas run by us to give the centre a new look . So that we could get all areas moved quickly we did preparation by boxing our stock ready for the move. From 5p.m. - 9.30p.m. on the 30th the Centre staff moved everything into place. have attached pictures with all its new stands.. We hope you will come and see the refreshed areas.

Decided to take a road trip around the clydeside visiting various garden centres finishing off at Garrion Bridges, you could spend hours in here and still not see it all,the antiques place is great with some good pieces to see. We had a spot of afternoon tea and the food was freshly prepared and reasonably priced, all the staff are really friendly and we will be back soon for another visit with more friends.

Love having a wander here. Lots of very nice items available for purchase. And the antique center in the back is a trove of treasures. Food isn't the best though. We no longer eat a meal here but will have a coffee and cake. Last time we got a scone and it was stale. Almost like it had been left out all night.
