Just got back from the Grove Theatre, We watched the Queen tribute by the group Magic, Nearly two hours of Queen songs, incredible show, Musicians and singing fantastic, harmony brilliant, Bohemium Rhapsody and Innuendo really difficult to do, but these guys pulled it off.Played a couple of ELO songs including Mr Blue Sky a bit of a taster of what else they can do at the end of the show, then the applause brought them back out , We are the Champions finished a great evening. Hope the Grove invites them back soon. I am looking forward to an evening with ELO!

Grove Theatre is the best thing to happen to Dunstable in years. We've now been over 50 times since it opened; plays, opera, ballet, films, comedy, local concerts and many tribute bands. Last visit was for live streaming of RSC's Love Labours Lost from Stratford on Avon. Excellent evening and can't wait for Much Ado About Nothing.

I love Grove Theatre. Here is something that where ever you sit you can see AND feel part of the action. Staff are great, the facilities are fab and it feels a welcoming venue. Sure there are other theatres but the Grove tops my list

I took my sister to see a film here last Friday and she thoroughly enjoyed the set up.With the Friends membership we were able to see the film for just £3.25 each. Tickets are £6.50, buy one...get one free. The films start promptly at 7.30, so get there for 7 to pick your spot.Well worth getting membership...if only for the film offer.Drinks and nibbles handy, free parking...what more could you want.Nachos - but it's in the suggestion box!

Just been to see the panto, enjoyed ourselves. Come quite often to the cinema showings, well worth getting the friends of grove card, works out great as 2 for 1 on cinema tickets. Seen quite a few shows here too, thoroughly love it and so close by, very friendly staff too ....

Dunstable should be proud of their local, very comfortable Grove Theatre. This year's pantomime is Robin Hood & the Babes In The Woods. It stars Alan Fletcher (Dr Karl Kennedy in Neighbours) as the evil Sherrif of Nottingham. Alan proves to be a brilliant villain that just thrives on the hisses & boos of the young audience - and lots of the parents if the Dad behind me was anything to go by! Alan's fine voice is also used to full advantage, proving he's a performer of many talents. Co-starring is popular ventriloquist Steve Hewlett playing Billy with the help of several of his ventriloquial friends. Quite apart from his technical skills, Steve was an excellent Billy playing the audience for all he was worth with a mixture of wit and charm. He won just about everybody over in the first couple of minutes.Strangely Magic Beans Pantomimes decided to use singer Andy Abrahams, then not give him a decent solo number to perform. Singer he is, comic actor he ain't!The rest of the cast were pretty good, but I'd like to have witnessed a bit more warmth from the Dame who decided to play Nurse Nelly more like a nasty ugly sister than a friendly dame. Maybe with an eye to next year's production at Dunstable of Cinderella? All in all great value for money, great live band, interesting sets, worth the price of the ticket to see Mssrs Fletcher & Hewlett alone! There's only a few performances left in this run, so better be quick - or catch it at Gravesend this time next year!

Attend this theatre for the pantomime every year. Disappointed this year. Acoustics were not good and too much singing/ dancing. Mixed story. The ventriloquist held it together. Our group of 10 felt disappointed, especially for the children. Hopefully it will be a different group next year. The theatre is well run a good foyer, comfortable seats and friendly staff. There are eating places in Dunstable.

There are many ways to rate a theatre ... facilities ... bar ... choice of shows and whilst The Grove does really well in all those areas I rate it extremely highly in the leg room department. Excellent seating makes a performance. The staff were excellent and there is a nice bar area, however there is no restaurant in the theatre. There are a couple nearby for pre theatre meals. Plenty of parking is available to the rear of the theatre. We thoroughly enjoyed Robin Hood on Sunday which was a brilliant show, well done Magic Beans Company.

There is plenty of parking, it is not too far from me. You can have a meal in Gary Coopers first. Wide variety of shows and some films. Films cheaper than cinema.

Grove is a great venue with good choice of shows plus the benefit of free parking. Only negative would be the bar which is sadly overwhelmed at the interval due primarily to lack of staff and structured service.

I have been here twice and have had a good time on both occasions. The first time i went was for a comedy night and although the comedians weren't hilariously funny my friend and i still enjoyed ourselves. The second time i went to see an evening of burlesque and it was so nice to see so many people dress up and really get involved. The grove theatre has friendly staff, clean toilets and good prices. Its situated in an area near taxi drop off zones so less walking! And next to bars and clubs so you can continue your evening.

Shows are ok could be better, dunstable were promised an amazing theatre, but I feel they don't get the amazing shows that other theatres do. Cinema side of it only show films a long time after release so doesn't compete with nearby towns. More shows in the afternoon would be better as so many older people in Dunstable.

Went to last years panto, although its only a small venue you have a good view of the stage from any seat. Show was really good, took all the family and look forward to going back again this year.

I have been to the grove theatre numerous times to see tribute bands. Saw ben last year at the grove in march, and was pleased to see he was back this month, the format has changed- but i felt for the better. a new guitarist who was excellant, glad shyno still there ( a fantasic dancer) & singer. Ben's performance is flawless, & like the way he adds some humour into the show.It was mesmerising , incredible & memorable. We were all on our feet at the end of the show! The grove theatre is a lovely venue the seating is good & comfortable, the staff work very hard, always helpful & polite. Definitely will go back .
