We had a great family afternoon with Guy and his wife. They made us very welcome and we all had a throughly great afternoon.

This was a birthday present for my father. My brother and I also joined in. Our hosts were very friendly and after a cup of tea/coffee with biscuits we had our safetly briefing. We then made our way down the fields to start learning to shoot at clay pigeons. The instruction was very thorough and we were encouraged with helpful advice when we missed. An interesting afternoon

My partner and I went for a clay pigeon shooting session/lesson with Guy and it was such fun. Really professional setup, very safe, great fun, learnt lots. Now feel really confident shooting. Great value for money for my boyfriends birthday present. A great activity

An extended family gathering to celebrate a 60th birthday. Ages ranged from 17 to 60. A very relaxing, safe and enjoyable way of passing an afternoon. Guy and his partner were very welcoming and made the whole experience enjoyable. Drinks, safety, one-on-one instruction, and even a little competition - The 'birthday boy' won!

We appreciate this can be quite a scary experience, so we always try to unwind our clients first with a cuppa and a chat and to find out your experience with guns.We always offer lighter, lower recoil guns with softer cartridges that do not give so much 'kick'.Over the last 30 or so years we have developed a very professional, patient and informal approach to this very addictive sport and always try to make your experience memorable for the right reasons! I looked around the area for the ideal shooting experience for the stag party I was organising. I ended up getting in touch with Guy, the best move I made! We had ages ranging from 21 to 80, and the experience we all got was superb!We discussed different options with Guy and we came to what suited our group best (bacon rolls and tea/coffee on arrival, bit of safety/tuition, 2 hours of shooting with competitions to end with, then back to the farmhouse for a delicious BBQ and beers/ciders)Guy and his team (fellow instructor John, wife Carol, and son "Jack") were superb... Guy and his wife are charming hosts and Guy is an exceptional instructor. Our party had a thoroughly enjoyable time. I would recommend GB Shooting to anyone either looking for expert tuition or a safe and fun introduction to shooting.

My partner and I have recently become interested in sporting clays and have been to our local club about half a dozen times. We quickly decided some lessons would be useful and so started the Google search for an instructor. We struck gold when we found Guy, he is brilliant! From the first time we met Guy he made us feel comfortable and relaxed. After selecting the correct guns for us and running through the safety procedures we headed to the traps. The layout is great and allows for all levels of shooters. As an instructor Guy is amazing, his years of experience really shows. He had us breaking clays in no time! We could not recommend Guy highly enough. We enjoyed the whole experience so much we booked to go back the next day and again the following week!

Thank you for your kind words, and I'm glad you enjoyed your experience. We try to cater for all abilities and quite often have couples where one is more experienced at this sport than the other. However, the targets and type of shotguns can be tailored to suit your own abilities and quite often the complete beginner can even give the professional a run for their money!

I had always been interested in shooting and decided to give it a go. Guy is a really friendly and amiable instructor and chatted to me about gun safety, my interests etc all over a couple of cups of coffee. We then headed out to the shooting area and before I knew it I was shooting at clay pigeons from a number of different traps. Guy's style of teaching is excellent and he is able to adapt how he teaches to your own preferred style of learning. By the end of the lesson I was really pleased with my progress and couldn't wait to plan the next lesson. If you are a novice or even an experienced shooter then I recommend Guy; after all he does coach the England team so must be good ;-) Top marks.

i arranged a lesson with guy over the phone turned up nice cup of tea then off shooting safety lesson he didnt tell me off once worked through a few clays and corrections got on brilliantly this bloke is mustard freindly and tells you exactly what your doing wrong nicely and to the point brilliant defo return for another lesson cheers would recomend him to any one richard
