Lovely venue and fairly easy to find as someone not from the area. Seats comfortable and more than enough legroom. Staff were great, there were two empty seats on the front row which we were allowed to move to so we could sit together (we booked last minute so spent the first act sat apart).Only issue was the interval drinks, we ordered vodka and coke and I think there was more vodka in the drink than coke. Probably made it very good value for us but it was a little strong!Would recommend visiting this theatre.

Fifty years of visiting the Grand and the RSC's touring production of It's a Mad World myMasters was the best theatre experience in years anywhere. Rude but never crude this wonderful farce-like romp was a delight. Thomas Middleton's play brought up to date and aptly set in 1950's Soho, gave the audience some wonderfuljazz music. The acting, the sets, the costumes - all superb. If it comes to your neck of the woods do go and see it but beware it is rude but very, very funny.

This is my first visit to the theatre and first ballet and can i just say it was everything i had hoped. Our seats were in the grand circle and when i booked i imagined the view to be poor but they were great, not much leg room for us long legged people though. The staff were very good, somone who wasn't feeling well they were quick to help out. All together a great night and I look forward to visiting again.

This theatre is always a joy to visit, the staff are friendly, it is always clean and tidy and it is very comfortable. Its a pity we can't go back in time and observe the unwritten rules is the past. Say excuse me when you want to get passed someone, turn your phone off not just to silent and stop talking when the play is on. No this wasn't youngsters but senior citizens who were spoiling the experience. However that aside, the play was excellent, the scenery very apt and the costumes were very respectful to the period of time. We have seen every one of the Agatha Christie touring company's productions and they just get better - roll on 2016....

We went to watch 'and then there were none' it was quite busy but not full. The show was fantastic and I recommend it to anyone. The theatre is grand old place and I've been a quite a few times. Views to the stage are good and the seats are comfortable if not a little squashed together. Prices are reasonable as well. Here's to the next visit in a couple of months, I look forward to it!

Spent yesterday evening at the theatre watching Agatha Christie's "And then there were none".Starring Paul Nicholas (70s pop idol), Verity Rushworth (Emmerdale), Mark Curry (TV Presenter), Susan Penhaligon (Bouquet of Barbed Wire), Frazer Hines (Emmerdale), Colin Buchanan (Dalziel & Pascoe), Ben Nealon (Soldier Soldier & Doctors)Brilliant play and acting it keeps you guessing until the end who dunit! The theatre itself is an extremely beautiful building inside, with Stalls, dress circle & grand circle and is well over 100 years old. Each floor as its own bar area and toilet facilities. There is a lift to allow elderly or infirm to use the upper seating areas. Drinks available include coffee/tea as well as alcohol and soft drinks these can work out expensive but it is a theatre not a public house. There is a front of house kiosk where you can buy sweets/chocolate/popcorn.The staff are helpful and always polite and friendly and as a regular user of the theatre it as been easy to build up a great rapport with them. Highly recommended for a night out especially if the production that is on is one you want to see.

This is OUR theatre and we in Wolverhampton are very proud of it! My nephew is in the pantomime this year ( and last year). The decor is lovely, seats comfortable and staff very friendly and helpful. I am sent a list by e-mail of future events as I take my "Dreamers" club to the theatre.

Been to see Cinderella today at The Grand and had a fantastic time, the theatre is beautiful and the lighting and effects were superb. Clearly the billed star of this show was Julian Clary but the actual star of the she for me was Joe Tracini, he is very very funny, a talented actor, singer and magician ! Loved it !

We visited the Grand Theatre on the 11th January 2015, to watch the pantomime. I haven't been to see a performance for a few years, and I had forgotten just what a beautiful theatre it is.The pantomime was funny, and Julian Clary and Buttons were hilarious.I would also like to add that the staff at the theatre are first class. One male of staff, in particular, was a credit to the theatre. I did not take his name, and I wish that I had.He was very caring and helpful, when a member got upset and had to leave for a short while. A fantastic night out at a stunning theatre.

Love this theatre ,great position in wolverhampton with many bars and restaraunts close at hand.Seating plan and decor are good with plenty of space even for me at 6feet 3 tall between rows.First class toilets and good access for disabled people all in all a good night to be had no matter what show you go to see.

a classic beautiful looking as a theatre should with a 3 level horseshoe auditorium in red, white and gold. there are pillars holding up the levels which can be a problem if you sit in some seats. booster seats are available for children. this being an older theatre legroom is not always good. the theatre brings a whole host of west end and touring shows right to the heart of the midlands and as it is not as big as its birmingham rivals plays sit comfortably in the space too. it is also priced to fit the local population and visiting is a great joy. in the foyer the theatre has displays of its long history and there are bars and the box office is good too. well worth a visit
