My daughter and I have been going there since she was little and a friend and I went there yesterday. I'm not artistic or crafty at all but I can paint ceramics. We want to take a glass making class. The store has items in a wide variety of prices.
I'm live in Miami but visit this area frequently. Every time I come to Alpharetta, I have to have come here. I've painted numerous of there ceramic pieces. It's a fun place, that allows you to bring in snacks and drinks. Very chill environment. Great place to hang and have art time! Highly recommend this place! Also, it dose take three days to get your piece fired and back to you so factor that time in your visit! My family always picks up my completed painted ceramic piece and mails it to me!
I have many found memories of painting objects with my daughter for several years. Now I want to take some of the one visit glass making classes. This place has a nice relaxed atmosphere for all ages. There is a large selection of objects, add ons, paint, and stencils. You can take home your fired objects in a couple of days. My husband even went with us once but there is a brew house next door. I'm not artsy or crafty but I can do this.
My teen daughter and I love to go here for some alone time. We can talk, paint, and talk some more with no interruptions from our phones, siblings, dogs, etc. a fun place with plenty of variety for all skill levels to enjoy. Love coming back to pick up our projects and see how they turned out after being fired. Fun!
Some girlfriends and I went here on a Saturday afternoon. The range of pieces\prices were excellent for little kids all the way to adults. Items included piggy banks, salad bowls, vases, etc. The price includes the paint, the ceramic piece and the "firing process". They have tutorials on the side of the wall (across from the sink) that show examples of what one coat, two coats, or three coats of paint "look like" after the firing process. They also show what the piece will look like if you choose not to paint a section. If you are not artisitic (like me), don't worry. There are stencils avaiialbe and they also have stamps. Sometimes, being artisitc can cause you get hunrgy or thirsty. They do have sodas and a few snacks for sale. We painted our pieces on a Saturday, and the pieces will be avaialble for pick up in less than a week-Friday. We had a great time painting and talking. I was realy surprised that we were in the studio for about three hours- time DOES fly when you are having fun.
Its a great place for kids to spend some calm time painting an object of their liking. The prices of the pieces are a bit expensive. But, the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff makes up for it. Warning: the place is quite addicting, so you might have to go back many times :-)
I toll my husband here for his birthday as a joke a couple months ago. He has no artistic abitity (arrording to him). They have idea books and stencils and other art to help with ideas. There is no sitting fee, you just pay for your pottery. They have lots of colors and lots of sizes of brushes. The staff get you started and then let you do what you want. They even have glass art and classes. I love it. We go back 4 times a year. Go , you will love it!
If you are looking for a place to do ceramics or glass art or want to paint; try "All Fired Up". The price of the ceramic piece includes the paint and firing processes. It does take time for the store to finish firing your piece, so I plan on doing this shop first when I visit, so I can pick up my ceramic piece and take home with me. Two thumbs up. The location is chill, great service & you can bring in outside food & drinks!!!!
Looking for a unique gift or a place to destress after work? All Fired Up is the place to go. Choose from a variety of pottery pieces that change based on the season. Pick your colors, design your piece and then see how it turns out after the firing process. Sure to be a fun time with friends or by yourself.
Great girls night out spot. So much fun to go and release and be creative with a great group of people. Great for groups, birthdays or special celebrations
I love the location of this place, but its way over priced for what you do there. There are better places to do pottery. We've been several times and each time the employees have been cranky and acted like we were imposing if we needed any type of help or explanations. For the price you are paying to paint the pottery, at least a few elementary instructions should be included.
I discovered All Fired Up through a groupon and I might not have even gone there if I had to pay full price because like a lot of people I had never painted anything before and we had 2 young kids with us under 7. So I got a groupon and on a rainy day decided to give it a try. We all selected our pieces and choose our brushes and paint (which is all included in the price/ piece) Never knew where the time went but we spent good 4-5 hours completing our pieces and then left them to be baked. You can take your food and stay there as long as you want, no pressure. Overall it was a good experience and totally worth it on a rainy day to with family when there is nothing better to do.
