We visited the grand opening of the new Christmas season at Six Flags and was pleasantly surprised at the park's winter wonderland transformation. The celebration included the real meaning behind Christmas with a nativity scene and beautiful lights. The production in the Crystal Pistol was endearing and the park was at its best. We will definitely return to this annual celebration. It really got us in the spirit of Christmas. Thanks to the Six Flags staff for such a wonderful event!
1.) it's totally not worth the the admission of 63.00/per person! Plus, you have to pay at least 20.00 to Park!2.) your suppose to be able to purchase rebate tickets on their website. You can't! If you have a mobile device. When people travel who carries a desk top computer!3.) 11.00 for a chicken strip and French fries for one person meal!If you want to go to a real park,... I suggest Knoebels, HersheyPark, Great Flags in Jersey or DorneyPark.
Six flags is expensive but the kids are loving it. Some perks that is not on the web are the military discount, you have to call to get a code emailed and also handicap pass, good for up to 4 people. The handicap seems to be better then the flash pass and its free so if you are handicapped go to guest relations and get the free pass! Best way to ride. We also came early so the lines are not to bad. The staff has been awesome all day, very helpful and friendly! I would recommend visiting if your wanting loads of fun. Make sure you look for Internet specials!
Everything is fun, this place is super expensive but really really fun! The water ride is new & lines are long for the popular ones.
If you like roller coasters , this is definitely the place you must go, but for me, amusement parks must be like a full course delicious dinner.I must have the entree, the main course, the sides and the desert.Six Flags has only and outstanding main course (the thrilling rides) but I miss the rest, like Universal Parks offers. Animatronics, 3 or 4 D movies, children amazing attractions.
I loved this park. No frills just good coasters. we went twice during out 2 weeks and had a blast. We went mid week so the queues were.ok. It was cheaper for us to buy annual passes and use them only twice but they got us into the water park as well.
We are going on a field trip on may the 1st 2015! It looks so fun!!!!!!!!!!!! Many people said it was!!!!!!!
Visited here in 1979. Great family fun with plenty of rides for young and old. Great food and entertainment for children.Would visit again
I had fun, of course, BUT this is definitely not one of the higher end Six Flags. Also, some of the rides seemed to need maintenance pretty frequently. It was a pleasant experience with a lot of fun, but if you are used to higher end theme parks like Six Flags Over Texas or Universal Studios, this is a bit smaller and less adventurous in my opinion.
I visited new years day and first and foremost, the park looked amazing. Christmas music was playing everywhere, there were snow machines, Christmas lights everywhere and just a great atmosphere over all. With everything though, there's always the negatives. First, I'm going to start with the rides only running one train. I arrived at opening (12AM) and got on a few rides with barely any wait. Then around 1pm, the crowds started to come in and the lines started to form (not too bad) and then the waiting started. What would have been a five minute wait, had they had more than one train running on the coasters, turned in to a 15 minute wait. I understand that they have high maintenance cost on the coasters but i'm pretty sure it wouldn't hurt to have multiple trains running. That was a major deal breaker for me, considering that I only go here to ride the most coasters in the very limited time that I have. Secondly, the parking. Why in the world do they feel the need to empty your pockets before you even enter the park? I understand that you can buy a seasons parking pass but at the same time, the parking fee shouldn't exceed more than 5 or 10 bucks. Take my advice people, especially if you're looking to visit more than once, invest in a seasons parking pass. It's a bit pricey but it pays for it self in about three visits. It cost 20 to park in the main parking lot, 15 to park in this private parking lot(near the entrance) and 10 to park at this hotel, near the private parking lot mentioned earlier. However, on non busy days, the hotel does not open their parking lot to six flags visitors, only to their patrons who are staying in the hotel. Third, the food! Yuck! Very greasy and some of this stuff I could make in my own kitchen. They take these basic ingredients, fry them up and put a hefty price tag on them. By hefty, I mean 10 dollars for a funnel cake. I even saw a hamburger meal that was upwards of 15 bucks. So take my advice, bring your own food and a cooler (Can't bring food in park) and eat out in your car. Fourth, if you hate hilly terrains and walking up slippery slopes then this place isn't for you. Seriously, I felt like I was doing cardio the whole entire time I was there. This place has so many hills and slippery pavement, it's unreal. Other than the few negatives, I had an OK time but they need some improvements- BIG TIME!
Six Flags is great. It is a great place to take children during the holiday to see the beautiful lights and ride the rides. They have hot apple cider and hot chocolate that makes you feel warm and cozy.
Holiday in the Park was the beginning of our season pass membership. If this is all we do related to our season passes, then the money will have been well spent. We absolutely loved every part of our visit. Being a the park made me feel like a kid again. I was beyond impressed with all the joyful employees, cleanliness of the park, and the ease of lines for rides. Well worth the time, quite affordable.
I loved visiting the park with 4 boys aged 11 to 14. Liked running to the rides and getting on as many times as possible !!! Great Scorcher, Superman and Goliath awesome rides !!!! Chocolate refills superb :)
This is a very good amusement park that is fun for the whole family even if you have both little kids and older teens there's something for everyone. They add/update each season so it's fun to come back once or twice each year. If you plan to come at least twice then the season pass plays for itself. Note - you have to pay for parking.
What a great event at Six Flags over Georgia! We didn't know exactly what to expect, but the lights were beautiful and shows were good. Will certainly make this event a part of our Christmas season tradition!
