We escaped to Calhoun today to shop at our leisure at the Calhoun Premium Outlets. A few stores were a little crowded but overall, the shopping experience was great. You can find just about anything you need here. Tools, shoes, clothes, luggage, books, gifts, you name it. There was a quaint coffee shop that was perfect for a cold day like today. If you're anywhere Calhoun, this is one place you deserve to treat yourself to.
We were there Columbus Day weekend and it was not very busy. Some great deals. Buildings are a bit spread out - not all connected.
Stopped by here on our way to the north Georgia mountains. There is a nice variety of stores, mostly clothing and shoes. Found a great deal at Skechers and a wide variety at the Kitchen Collection. My husband got a special deal at Direct Tools. Definitely a place to stop if you're in the area.
We visited the Outlet on our recent holiday in the States. As other reviewers have said its not the largest, but there are definitely bargains to be found.
We usually stop here to shop on the way down to FL and on the way home. Disappointed to find out BonWorth is closing all its stores later this year. Makes a good stop to walk out some kinks from travel and pick up some bargains.
Outlet mall was very well laid out and restrooms were fairly easy to find. If you are a AARP member you can get discount coupons. NOTE: There is only one place to eat if you like coffee. If not there are many places in Calhoun close by that are very good. The Kitchen Collection Store there is a very good upgrade.
I thought these outlets were just fine. Outlets are about 45 minutes away from Chattanooga, TN. They are laid out in such a way that makes it easy to see and get to everything. There are probably 40-50 stores/shops to include some of the big brands like Ann Taylor, Gap, Old Navy, Lee/Wrangler, Bass, Banana, Izod, Tommy Hilfinger, Nike, etc. We spent a good 3.5 hours there. Prices were fairly reasonable and many stores had items on sale. The only drawback that I could see was there was not a whole lot of eateries (other than a java shop) in the outlet area so grab a bit before you get there.
Not too many stores I was interested in. Did get a nice bag at Coach store. Not as upscale as Tanger Outlets or as many choices.
The "ghost" mall- this place makes it worth the extra drive to go to a real outlet mall like the new one in Woodstock Georgia
My husband and I stopped here on the way back from visiting family in the Atlanta area over the 4th of July weekend. Since this is an outdoor outlet mall, it was much easier to choose to visit just the stores in which we were interested as opposed to being trapped inside a vast and confusing indoor mall like a bee in a boxcar. There were bathrooms at either end of the outlet mall and this was sufficient for the amount of stores on the property. There was plenty of parking and it was easy to navigate the parking area. There was a nice variety of stores without it being overkill and leaving you feel like you had an Olympic workout. Although it was pouring rain the whole time we were there, there is sufficient coverage to walk on the sidewalks and stay out of the rain, except for two areas - one for handicapped parking that is in between the Nike store and Ann Taylor and one area where the entrance/exit is located. The entire property was clean and well-maintained. As with all outlet malls, whether indoor or outdoor, you have to know your pricing and this will help you know what is a good deal and what is not. Even if you're not looking for a sale, this was a relaxing shopping experience - just the right balance.
We were disappointed that many stores that were here previously were gone. There was no crown, so shopping was a pleasure. The prices on sales were very good and we did purchase some things, but not the two items that we had purposely come to purchase.
We had a girls day out. Drove for nearly an hour to get to the center. Not overly disappointed but not wowed either. Best shopping for the day was the Naturizer store where they were offering 70-80% off clearance. They had a nice selection of all types of shoes and sandels. Vanity Fair has a nice outlet at this location as well. I have been to other VF stores that reminded me more of a rummage sale. This one is well kept and well stocked. My fellow shopper hit the jackpot on bathing suits. The best service of the day was the Ann Taylor store. They were having a 40% off day and their staff was very attentive with starting a dressing room reserved by name. It's alot easier to shop without an arm load of clothes. The down side of this center is the lack of food and shade. I can't imagine what this parking lot would be like in the dog days of summer. One of my fellow shoppers need to take a pill with food and the only thing we could find was a vending machine with icecream. Luckily, before we started shopping we had lunch at the Longhorn which is less than a mile from the center. It was very good by the way.
There is a good choice of stores and merchandise. Too bad the toy store is only available around Christmas -dads and kids need somewhere to shop. Always able to find good deals at the Old Navy, Carter's and Vn Huseun stores. Some of the other stoes will have a 2 for sale that if you are not careful, you end up paying moe than a regular store.A careful shopper can find good deals. Could really use a book outlet.
This stop was "okay" nothing spectacular. Should have saved the gas & just shopped in Dalton. While we were great to see a variety of stores...the pricing was 'high" for them to supposely have been Outlets.
