It is beautiful and historic. Great for photos, picnics, relaxing. No fee. Nature at its best! We did not do a tour but just happened to drive by and notice it. Turned around and took many photos. Make sure you read the sign with the history behind it.

The setting is romantic and the building/dam is beautiful - wonderfully maintained historic structure. If interested, you can picnic on the grounds as tables/benches are provided in the park next to it. Outdoor access only - open at all times - free to us park.

It is one of the most photographed spots in Ga. only 30 miles south of Atlanta, Near Peachtree City, Ga.

I am lucky enough to live around the corner. The mill is a great place to fish or picnic but mainly it is a great backdrop for family pictures.

Great place for a picnic and pictures. Grist mill a lake, walking trails and picnic areas. Several very good locations for photo shoots.

My fiance and I stopped here to take a few photos and walk around the grounds. I really wish we would have packed up a lunch and had a picnic. The grounds were beautiful. Apparently they filmed the movie Sweet Home Alabama on the property, I've never seen that movie. As for the mill is was very neat and gave us some great photo opportunities!

There is a little trick to find the park, it's hidden behind the wooden area... If I'm wrong, the park is located on the North West corner of Goergia Highway 85S.(NOT Interstate 85) and Joel Cowan Pkwy. There is a little church at that corner, just right by the left side of the church, there is a very little dirt road called: Water Fall Way, turn right onto it, follow all the way to the end where is the park. Please go to the Internet to read more about its history, very exciting!!!The current mill, just over 100 year old, was the third mill constructed on the mill foundation, was rebuilt by William T. Glower, when the previous mill was destroyed by fire. More than a grist mill, the Georgia mill site went on to power a cotton gin and supply electrical power to the nearby town of Senoia. Still a popular place to fish and take photographs, this charming mill and day use park can be found about 25 miles south of Atlanta, nearby the communities of Starrs Mill an Senoia... If you are visit the City of Senoia or close by area, you should stop by for pictures, for relaxing picnic.... Hope you enjoy this park and have a great trip.

This beautiful area is hidden right off the beaten path. Its worth making a detour if you are in the area. Its really quiet without tourists. Two pretty red buildings a dam with a waterfall effect. It was quite serene.

I was excited to see this, as Sweet Home Alabama is one of my favorite movies. It was very pretty. It had also been raining a lot so the water was high and fun to play in (in several areas).
