the frog golf course

One of the best golf courses in Georgia. Fairways and Tee boxes are first class. Greens are fast, smooth and true. A fair challenge for all golf skills. Only two negatives on this facility a, location as this course is well off the beaten path, b, clubhouse burned in a fire several months ago and the replacement has not been completed as yet. I still recommend this course as a great value.

What a great course to play! It's out there in the boonies, but worth the drive. They are in the process of rebuilding their clubhouse, so can't speak to anything but the gorgeous golf course and very friendly staff. Fazio designed, a lot of fun, especially in it's current condition. We had 2 couples playing and we all had a blast. Challenging, but not punishing, even high-handicappers can reach some of the greens in regulation. The greens are very slippery right now, which will keep your ego in check. The carts are well-equipped with tablet screens so you have your yardage with you all the time and can see the layout of each hole and where trouble is ahead of you (which is great when you are not familiar with the course). Better cared for than most public courses. Can't wait to go back again. I know the Frog is their symbol, but we saw wild turkeys on 18th green!

This is a very nice track. Fairways are somewhat forgiving and recoverable and the greens are tough, but fair. Really enjoyed the round here. The course is semi-private but not hard to get on. About 40 minutes east of Atlanta and a value based on the price. If you like Fazio don't miss this. There is no clubhouse but that's because it burned down they are in process of getting it reconstructed.

Absolutely the finest, player friendly layout in West Georgia. This Tom Fazio design is challenging but extermely fair and is usually in perfect condition. The clubhouse facilities are in the process of being rebuilt after having suffered a fire, but the course is always very well cared for.

My husband played golf at Fairfield Plantation and at the Frog. The Frog is a really challenging golf course and him and my son had a great time. The greens are immaculate and the service is outstanding.

Wonderful atmosphere. Great staff. Course could not have been any better. Tip: Many sand traps, stay out of them and you will do well.

I was taken there by a friend during a visit to Douglasville and Villa Rica, and had an enjoyable time. Not pretentious, but nice.

Very secluded and a bit of a drive but well worth it! The Super 8 in villa rica i stayed in recommended it.

I loved how well maintained the course was, how friendly the staff was, and the food was decent. Although, the waitress seemd a little scared. LOL. I am not one of those uppety stuck up golfers, and I wanted her to be comfortable. Please be nice to them.
