So many Ga sites are associated with the Civil War, we sometimes forget there were several key Revolutionary War actions here too. While often think of this more towards Coastal Ga, this site is tucked away at the end of a dirt road. Definitely do a little reading on it before you go there as it will help to interpret the site. It's all of a 5 minute drive down the dirt road, and it ends at the site.

Toured this site because of my family's heritage and involvement in this important battle. The site is being studied for further development, to increase in size and scope. The names of some of the patriots who fought in this battle are written on various forms of monuments, however there are more expected as a verification process moves forward. Clearly worth the visit.

Nice and secluded site. Read up on the battlefield first and you can get a better idea about what took place here. Not much interpretation at the site but with maps and info, you can get a feel for what it was like. A little known but important battle.

A Revolutionary War battle site. Very historic.Improving and expanding site, including recent grant. Very knowledgeable and committed association that oversees the site.

When you get to the dirt road just keep driving and you will finally get there. Go through the gates to the top of the hill where you will find a small cemetery and large monument dedicated to the soldiers of this Revolutionary battlefield. A quiet place to reflect.

We weren't quite sure we were going the right way until we saw the gate it is pretty far back in the woods. It is very quiet and nice there a great place to picnic also. Nice place to stop to get a little history.

I don't really know what I was expecting, but I didn't realize the battle was actually on top of a steep hill. Hard to imagine a battle at that sight but I'm glad we won! There is a small cemetary there which I thought was great--final resting place for people who fought in that battle (but did not die). Be careful walking around though--lots of holes/dips in the ground.

I had no idea that visiting the Kettle Creek Battle Field would lead me to land that lay adjacent to my ancestors' land on Kettle Creek and that I would see family names on the markers at the site. It was a wonderful experience and my family and I will return

Not much to see and not well maintained. This is to bad that no one is taking care of this site.
