desert diamond distillery tasting & cocktail room

Had such a great time here. We had made the rounds to each of the wine tasting rooms in downtown Cottonwood, and as we exited the last one, there was Desert Diamond Distillery. We decided to give it a shot. (pun intended) To keep this short and simple, the rum was all incredible / sipping quality / amazing. The proprietor, John Patt, was extremely passionate about his craft, shared tons of fascinating information regarding the challenges of distilling, and he was quite the comedian if you enjoy an extremely self deprecating, dry sense of humor. (which I do) I'm going to visit John @ D3 Distillery's tasting room whenever I can, and I'll be buying large quantities of his amazing rum creations at Total Wine. Cheers, D3/John!!

Decided to try this place since it offered rum tasting. Pretty good price wise, and the lady doing the pours seemed very knowledgeable about the rums. Would definitely go back to have a cocktail the next time I'm in Cottonwood.
