The OK Corral is fronted by a shop that sells souvenirs, snacks and tickets to the shows. The gun fight is in the Corral section that is found by going to the back of the shop and entering the corral with its many displays and western artifacts, one of which is a saddle that belong to one of the Earp's. There are many interesting things to read about and see besides the gunfight show.
The O.K. Corral and gunshots was amazing. For amature actors, they portrayed the scene perfectly and included the audience as a humor-filled effect. I highly recommend this if you're ever down in Tombstone, AZ!
Actors were very realistic and friendly. Spent plenty of time after the show to have picture taken with the family. Good value
Watching the re-enactment was exciting. I was raised on westerns, and this provided a very personal experience. It was great!
This is what we came to see; the OK Corral which Hollywood has immortalized in so many movies. This is a must see when visiting Tombstone and the entertainers here did not disappoint. They were very friendly, entertaining, and talked about the historical accounts of the 30 second event. Overall, the price of the show includes a copy of the historical Tombstone paper, a visit through the corral's collection of historical wagons and memorabilia and the gun fight we all go to see. There is no mistaking when the shotgun shows up. Good Job guys; it was a blast!
The price is a great value because you get the show, the movie experience, and a free paper from the Epitaph news press. The show is funny and informative and we loved being able to participate. Cast members stay around for pictures after the show and answer all questions with good humor and politeness. They even helped my husband retrieve his iPhone after it fell down under the bleachers.
This is where they reenact the gunfight at the ok coral. They really put on a good show. There is a small admission fee but well worth it.
Great show. There are several to see, but you don't want to miss this one. Good acting with some humor and historical facts thrown in too.
Great acting, good price, definitely the thing to see in Tombstone! Don't miss it! Kids 5 and under are free. Show is interactive without being uncomfortable. Learned a lot!
Two additions to other comments. Be sur and see the diorama before the show it's worth it and explains the whole history of the town. Included with gunfight ticket. We saw this at 11:30 and the shootout at 12:00. Worked out great. Get tickets early to avoid line.
OK - you're in Tombstone...the Gunfight at the O.K. Corral is a must see! Good interaction by the actors with the crowd. When purchasing tickets for this event you also have entry to the small history theatre next door...don't miss that! Excellent!
Price wasn't great, but the actual historical aspect of it was worth it. The actors were incredibly friendly, expected the audience to become involved in the drama, and helped to put the actual events of the O.K. Corral into context. There was something pretty intense standing on the same soil that American history was made, and watching the actors portray the quick and dirty gun fight (which lasted a very short amount of time, as it should have compared to the Hollywood version) gave the entire showcase a very authentic feel. Was really great that they all waited to pose for photo's and gave the audience as much time as they needed after the show.If you took the time to travel to Tombstone, you have to make this a priority as this put the location on the map.
Tombstone is a tourist trap, and the OK Corral is part of that spirit. But if you're good with that, then it's a fun way to spend an hour, and relatively inexpensive considering what's charged at these types of attractions. The acting is extra-cheesy, but the players seem to be having fun with the audience, so it works. The mini-museums are surprisingly informative, worth the time to go through.
For the ticket price you get 3 items. The story/show and acting out of the shoot out which is very entertaining. You also get a newspaper from the old days which is fun to read and makes a good souvenir. The third is another show that we did not have time for and therefore cannot comment on.
It was well worth the flight and car ride there just for this show. The actors compared to the movie and was the best part of our trip there.
