As a surprise for my son's good grades I purchased a group package on Groupon for snowboarding lessons. Of course we picked the only warm day and the place was packed! Yes they could use more help at the rental station and someone to organize the meeting places better for lessons however once we told a worker that we couldn't find our group as the rental place took 40 minutes he gave us a private lesson and that was wonderful! The instructor was a teenager who knew his stuff and really helped my son while talking to him at his level. This winter I plan to give him private lessons again as I highly recommend these!! I called this place a hidden gem because it really is hidden but also its local and you don't have to drive to WI to get a similar snowboarding experience! My last suggestion would be more help at the snack station too. Whether you are snowboarding and coming in starving or an observer which I was you need faster service here!Overall I recommend! I hope this review helps someone :)

If you have ever wanted to Wakeboard - this is the place to learn! Keith is dripping with expertise. I'm more familiar with cable parks, and don't have much time riding behind a boat. Keith was super helpful instructing me how to get up and ride once I was up. Super helpful for a beginner. My buddy has a lot more experience than me, and Keith was incredibly knowledgeable giving him more advanced instruction for jumps, 180's and other assorted tricks. Booking was a cinch, and the website is super simple and straightforward. What a great way to spend a holiday weekend up on Fox Lake. We met at the Broken Oar Marina/Restaurant and left from there. If you have ever wanted to wakeboard and didn't how, you're gonna have a real challenge finding a better shop and instruction. They've gotta "Boatload" of knowledge (sorry for the cliche pun, but I couldn't resist). You should do yourself a favor and hit these guys up.
