Very lovely place ... good food and good service for any banquet activity. An Irish theme, but all are welcomed with great Irish spirit.
Good food and drink. I don't have anything bad to say about this place. Been there a bunch of times.
My husband's bank plays in Gaelic Park's Carraig Pub every other month. Very reasonable sandwiches with drink specials. It is not the healthiest of foods, but it's a pub.
This is a great place for a casual meal or a formal banquet. The food is outstanding. The wait staff are pleasant and efficient. The management goes out of their way to make your experience a positive one. There is often live music and entertainment. A true gem.
My cousin and his new wife just held their wedding reception there in August. It was a beautiful room, and even with close to 200 people the hall did not feel crowded. The food was good and the service was all done in a timely manner. The bartenders (who were swamped) got drinks quickly and no one waited long. The facilities were clean and the dance floor was great. I would recommend this place if you're looking for a good place for a fun reception.
We are normally in the area with friends and try to stop at a place for a few cold ones after dinner We've always seemed to find ourselves stopping here on several occasions and its a great palce to sit back and have a couple The crowd is nothing but friendly and they all seem to enjoy each others company, never been a problem with the different groups we've been there withDifferent functions every weekend and they have a trivia night ( fund raiser ) once a year that is always a fun time Something to check out and worth the money ( donation )Appys are good and the dinners are ok
I have been to many banquets for family members including my son's wedding reception. The hall is beautiful, tables are decorated nicely and the food has always been outstanding for a banquet. Bar and waitress service is the best. We frequently go the the Pub for a sandwich and a drink. On Fridays they have fish fry baskets as well a broiled orange roughy which is on the regular menu. Fried chicken is also available on Fridays and is good. If you like fried fish the perch and shrimp are really good. We really enjoy their food and the extended Memorial Day weekend brings Gaelic Fest which for a flat fee has unlimited carnival rides, entertainment (mostly Irish), facepainting, balloons, as well as pony rides and an entertainment stage for the children. Being Irish I really enjoy the entertainment especially the young Irish dancers.
Went for a banquet. Tables decorated nicely. Big dance floor. Decent food. Table service was hit-or-miss: appetizers were not offered consistently at our table, water pitchers were not refilled regularly, and tables were not serviced for messes during family-style serving from platters. Good sized stage above dance floor, dj had plenty of room and was easy to see. Two counters for bar service made serving easier. Restrooms conveniently located. Plenty of parking. Lighting was good - easy to manipulate it from very bright to fairly dark for dancing. Would go again for a banquet there if someone was having one, but nothing stood out as excellent. Average.
The grounds could be cleaner; seems every year it looks shabbier and shabbier when we stop by for various events/festivals. And what we pay for the "half pitchers" of beer is highway robbery. You'll definitely want to prime the pump before drinking at Gaelic Park fundraising events (or any events for that matter).
