avanti's dome

Very larg and fun place to have events. Becarful at the rotating doors, sometimes they go before you are ready. I have been for several things and have always enjoyed it.

Miserably cold at the Whitetail banquet on 5/17/14!! This is not an all season venue, the dome is obviously not climate controlled as the website claims. I needed a parka.

If you attend an event at the Dome during the winter, be sure to bring warm clothes. We attended a softball tournament this weekend and froze. Bring a hat, gloves and blankets. Hope for Field 1, and sit on the 1st base side, there's a huge heater. The facilities are well maintained, and there is a small lounge where you can warm up in between games. We didn't get much from concessions, but it was priced as all others are. There is a charge to get in, not sure if it's the same for all events, but it's $5 per day.
