We LOVE seeing adults play! That is exactly what we want...for children and their families to interact, play and have fun together! Come back in warmer weather and experience our outdoor science park...it's 8,000 sq feet of fun.

Thank you for your feedback regarding Discovery Center. We are happy you and your family were able to enjoy the museum for many years. We are also so happy to hear of your children's love of the Tot Spot Gallery. It's popularity is why we needed to double its size almost five years ago and added 700 sq. feet just this January! As you know, the purpose of Tot Spot is to provide a safe and developmentally appropriate space for children 6 and younger. It is a space for our youngest visitors to feel like "big kids" and not be afraid to play with an exhibit or ask for a turn at something. Older children can be very intimidating to youngsters, even if they don't mean to! Luckily, the rest of the entire museum is made for children age 7 and older. Several months ago, we added new exhibits to our Body Shop. And next week we are opening a new exhibit gallery with 12 new exhibits related to electricity and different forms of power. In the next 12-18 months, we have plans to create new exhibits for several other galleries in the museum. We hope you will visit us again, and we are so happy to know that you are providing your children with experiences at other museums as well.

I love the venue, parking was plentiful, exhibits were very busy, but still accessible for our granddaughter (who is 2). the outside area was captivating to her...and me. Took a little while to get into the vibe of the place for our granddaughter, but then took to it like a duck to water. Everyone else seemed to be having a fantastic time. Great day out with child or children.

Thanks so much for the nice review of Discovery Center. We are glad you liked the fitness area (Body Shop). We just renovated that area in the last few months. People really seem to enjoy the new exhibits we added...and they are great for all ages! Come back when it's warmer so you can enjoy our outdoor park as well.

Thanks for your good review! We are so pleased you and your daughter had a good time here on Christmas Eve. We'd love to have you come back this summer and visit our outdoor park. We do have a nice water play area...no swimsuit necessary...just stand at the huge water trough and play with nozzles to spray water, watch toy boats come down the flume and more. There is also a cave, dinosaur dig pit, 2-story wooden maze, swings, slides and much more!Thanks again for the review!

Thanks for the nice review! We are always a fun place to visit, but you are right about us having extra things to do during school breaks. Dec. 26-30 we have "Holiday Hoopla". There will be extra live science shows and lots of craft activities all included with museum admission. These value-added things will happen from 11:30-3:30 pm each day. Then on Dec. 31 we will have "Countdown to Fun" - our annual New Year's Eve celebration. Kids can make party hats, noisemakers and take part in lots of special activities from 12:30-4:30 pm. Then at 1, 2, 3 and 4 pm we will do countdowns to the New Year. We will gather in the atrium for the ball and confetti drop. It's a kid-favorite!!! Thanks again and Happy Holidays!

Thanks so much for your review. We love the Build It! Make It! exhibit as well. That was one we created ourselves! Because of its popularity with both adults and children, we plan to freshen it up and bring it back in 2015 or 2016!
