If you are an experienced horse rider or not or prefer just to watch others ride this is the place to go. Children will have fun with the bounce house, little pets and ponies. These people take special care of their horses and the riders. It's a beautiful place

Wanted to trail ride for my Birthday. This is a perfect place to come ride. The owners care about their horses and their riders. Felt comfortable & safe. I have not ridden a horse in twenty years, now I'm ready to take some private lessons and get back to riding. If you are reading this post, thinking whether to come here and ride, you will not be disappointed. If you've never ridden before, this is a great place to start. The trail ride is canopied with trees so even on a very hot day, you & the horse stay cool & comfortable.Thank you R & R for a great trail ride!

Second year in a row my daughter begs to go to this place for horse camp. Even though it is dead heat of summer....she is beyond excited to spend all day 9-5 at the ranch to do horse camp. Love love love this place!

The property is beautiful. The horses are well kept and in great shape. The tack was in excellent condition. The horses were great to ride..... nice and tame. Our guide, Barb, is super friendly and took us on a great trail ride for my cousin's birthday. Everyone we met there was helpful and friendly. I would love to spend more time here, it's my new favorite place!

I have been here several times and have ALWAYS had a wonderful experience. I have gone there with friends that range from beginning to expert level riders and it's never been an issue matching a person to the appropriate horse. The horses you rent aren't "trail ponies" but belong to the owners. Basically you are riding much loved and well cared for pets. For the price ($30 per person??) you get instruction, if needed, and time to get comfortable with your horse before you hit the trails. Afterwards, a guided trail ride through Alderman's Ford Preserve for over an hour. The preserve is gorgeous and you are treated to the natural beauty of Florida that tourists often miss. The owners are positively delightful people and know their stuff. After the trail ride we always stay a little while and wander around the stables. There is a skunk and other animals you can play with if you like. I have tried several stables in this area - this is the only one I go back to! If there was a higher rating possible I'd give it.

We had a birthday party here last fall for our 2 boys, turning 4 & 2. The people were very nice and helpful, yet left us to enjoy ourselves without hovering. Many animals for the kids to pet & interact with (even a neutered skunk!), and a guided pony-ride for each child. They also provide additonal amenities such as a bounce house, sno cones, etc. for a minimal fee. Our guests all said they had a wonderful time and will consider doing the same for their birthday parties! We will be back, great little place! Very affordable too!

Our Bed and Breakfast had a flyer for the R & R Ranch for trails rides. They were very nice people, with lots of different animals (including a skunk) to see. They first get you practicing with the horses in their riding area and then take you out into a nature preserve for an easy trail ride. There's nothing fancy about the place, but they are really nice and this makes a great place to spend a few hours.
