It is a nice property, the spa services are not red door from Elizabeth Arden any more. I liked the yoga class.
Not a true spa experience, no substance, pricey, not what we expected. It felt like your were buying a luxuary vehecle
They closed in March and supposedly will reopen under the Hyatt management
As of March 2012 this is no longer a RED DOOR property! The spa was good while it was open but now the Hyatt will have its own spa here! Make sure u r booking at the right place! Hope I was able to help you!
My corporation made reservations for me at the Hyatt in Weston FL, this was a business trip .they felt sense this was a strange city and I was by myself I would be safe. I was there 5 days . I asked at the front desk about getting my hair done. She said the spa at the hyatt was great. Some from my room in the guest book that says welcome to hyatt I read about the spa. Picked up the phone in my room bushes the little button that said spa. Made my appointment walked downstairs into the spa. On the hyatt property says hyatt spa. Checked in got my hair colored payed and left . The man that did my hair followed me out to my car and pushed me up avaunt my car and tried to assault me kiss me and grab me. I got into my car and he still was grabbing at me. I screamed hit the horn and left. I had a flight to catch in Miami that I missed. I was scared mad I did call the hotel and the spa. A week later still no word from them so I called again. Was told by the manager MR. Mcdounald that the hyatt is not responsible for the spas a cation I need to call them. Okay let's see it's has the address on the same ground part of the hyatt . In the hotel room in the guest book on the phone says spa. Called consumer affairs at the hyatt they say I have to talk to the manager they don't handle those concerns. So don't got to a hyatt . Your wife, daughter, girlfriend , mother , sister are not safe the hyatt noreen there spa care about you or safety . Please note there was witness to this . Wow is all I can say. I'm hurt and upset by this. Be safe everyone spend your hard earned money and time where some ones cares.
Nice place but spa was out of order and steam room was not up to par door would not close all the the way let the steam out not sure why they dont fix it ask when it would be fixed and was told not sure thats we we got a discount
We happened by the spa as we were staying at the Hyatt hotel. The staff was very courteous as we arranged an appointment and used the facilities for two hours. The spa has a very large gym (one of the larger gyms I have seen in a hotel) as well as a his and hers locker room with separate pools, hot tubs, saunas and steam rooms. My wife and I enjoyed a codes hot rock massage and I must say I was very impressed. It was so relaxing that I nearly fell asleep during the treatment. The staff was very courteous' but I have me suggestion. Please get mo men's magazines for the spa. You only had GQ and about a hundred women's magazines. Otherwise, absolutely great!
Gorgeous facility, not-so-great service. So this was my second trip to this Red Door. The first time was a great day, marred by the fact that the hot tub was overly-chlorinated and runied my bathing suit. That took about 6 weeks to resolve: after sending my ruined bikini to corporate and providing proof of purchase, they reimbursed me for the cost of the suit. It was a time-consuming process, and the corporate employees have a few things to learn about guest service, so I kept getting passed to different people and finally they also gave me a $100 gift certificate, which resulted in my second visit... FIRST IMPRESSIONS: it really is a gorgeous place, you enter thru the giant red doors into a courtyard that is set up as a Japanese garden. Very pretty. Reception area is equally pretty. So we checked in, got lockers, robes, etc. MASSAGE... Ask for Rowena. She is a trainer and is wonderful. A gifted masseuse and a very nice person as well. LUNCH ...We had arranged to have lunch poolside at noon, so we went out to the pool and crashed on some lounge chairs to wait. At about 12:30, everyone in the entire pool area, which really only consisted of 2 large groups, all received their lunch. We thought maybe the servers were busy with the larger group, so we waited. After 10 minutes, I went in to investigate, and inside the spa café, next to one girl who was eating by herself, sat our lunches!! Seriously, how hard would it have been for a server to have 2 extra lunches, and oh look! There are 2 girls out by the pool with no food. HMMMMMMM. Anyway, the lunch was tasty... I had a spinach salad, my friend had an avocado and chicken sandwich which was WAY better than my salad. Lunch was served with either ice tea or water, along with a spa dessert of white chocolate truffle type sweets, and some wildly delicious puffy oatmeal things. NOTE: lunch was $26 with service included. Way, way, way overpriced, and it is served room service style, ie: you pre-order, they drop it off and you never see them again. Of course everything is pricey at a spa... So what can you do.MANI/PEDI – Awesome!! The Red Door uses Zoya polish and it’s amazing. The service was great and the nail tech Rebecca was very sweet. Afterward we hit the jacuzzi (no issues this time!!) for some chill time. The steam room was out of order, which was a HUGE disappointment for me, but I had totally adjusted my expectations to include something going wrong, so it didn’t bother me so much.PRODUCT PUSH – There really wasn’t one!! One of the nice things they do is place all the products used in your services in a basket that’s waiting for you at checkout. There is ZERO pressure to buy, no uncomfortable sales pitch. Do make sure they charge you correctly... Some of the items we bought had been marked down quite a bit, and they didn’t ring up correctly. All in all, it’s a nice place... But not perfect. They def. need more attention to detail... The locker room is maintained spotlessly, the tea room (where you can wait in between treatments) not so much... There were dirty glasses and cups that were not removed promptly. Same thing in the pool area... Needs a big cleaning... When you are sitting under the overhang, if you look up you’ll see GAZILLIONS of dead bugs. very gross, and very un-spa like. So go an enjoy, just remember that you’re not at The Ritz .FINAL TIP - If you have ANY issues, resolve them BEFORE you leave. They say that once you've paid and the accounts are reconciled at the end of the day, they are unable to issue any credits(???) The corporate people seem to have a scripted response for guest issues that they are either unwilling or unable to deviate from. Based on my first experience, had they not issued me a refund AND the gift certificate, I would have never returned, simply based on their complete inability to handle my situation to my satisfaction. However, I'm glad I had the opportunity to return, because my second trip has balanced my first, and I now have a good memory there as well.
My daughter and I went to the spa for massages. We arrived early and were able to work out, my daughter took a zumba class, which she loved. I worked out in the fitness room which was large and had terrific equipment for cardio. The massages were excellent. We had a delicious healthy lunch before we left. We both felt we got so much more than just having a massage.
I had the absolute worst experience ever. I called to make 2 appts., one for me as well as a friend. I asked if we could use the pool first and then go for our treatments. We ended up leaving the pool because we waited for 25 minutes and couldn't get towels for the chairs after we asked two staff people. We then went back to our hotel pool (15 minutes away) instead of wasting a beautiful vacation day. We calledto cancel our spa appts made the day before because we didn't want to drive back again. They wouldn't cancel our appts, they told us they were charging us. Turns out the pool was the wrong pool. The receptionist never told me to check in with the spa first and that there were 4 pools and we had to go to a specific pool. They never offered us later appts, appts the next day, or apologized. I'll never step in a Red door Spa again.
This place is incredabel, from the moment you walk through those red door. The food is great, the gym unreal, but the massage was total bliss
