Came to watch a game from the box seats and it was pretty neat. The view from the box was great; you can see both the football field and the beach.
This modern stadium has recently been dedicated and has had a number of different sports and events including the home stadium for the FAU football team. The inaugural football game in 2014 was a great beginning. The field is beautifully maintained and the bathrooms and concessions meet the need. In addition, I saw the women's National Soccer Championship game there and found the field was easily converted for this purpose. Following this was the inaugural Boca Raton Bowl completing 2014. The parking is relatively easy and in close proximity to the FAU Stadium.A wonderful place to have an enjoyable experience with your favorite team.
Nothing special. Variety of food stands but hard to find something healthy to eat. End zone chairs very uncomfortable. Could use more washrooms.
Was at the Stadium to watch Marshall in the Boca Raton Bowl. Obviously a newer stadium. At least where I sat, it was bench seating, with backs, and form fitting plastic seats to sit on. So better than many football stadiums that don't have backs and are just straight bleachers. You have your own defined seat, so that is good. But they weren't the flip down seats with arms, like many stadiums.Concourses were wide, signage was fine. Parking seemed plentiful. One of the few stadiums I went to where the PA announcer was hard to hear. Usually they blast your ears out. Video board was midpack to various college stadiums I've been to, but easy enough to see replays and such. The bowl game wasn't full, and I gather FAU doesn't have full crowds either. But it is a nice stadium, and was a good place to watch a game. I think it will still be fine when the crowds increase.
We were here for the Boca Raton Bowl. Very nice stadium. Seats with backs, and not crammed too close together. Was easy to find. We did buy a parking pass but it looked like there was plenty of parking (school was out). Very clean. This will sound funny but the restrooms had very nice toilet paper. Good security. We like the aluminum stands because you can make some noise using them. Our stadium is concrete..........We won. Go Marshall !!
Beautiful campus. This is a well designed stadium finished in 2011. ODU would benefit having this design. We had a great time tailgating today and enjoying our win. FAU had poor attendance for such nice facility.
It is amazing that Police or Security are not trained for move traffic from big venues. Getting in it took about an hour from the entry of the University. The jam was cauaed by them, and it seems their discordination is at all level. I even saw them discuasing with drivers... Unbelievable.
I was here for Easter services. Plenty of free parking. Easy access from Glades Road or Spanish River Blvd. The seating configuration is okay, but you can easily get lost from where you entered the stadium when you exit.
Have a daughter at FAU and went to her first home game. What a nice stadium. We got seats in Section 207 and they were comfortable and all had cupholders in front of us. They need to hire more staff for the concessions as the lines for food and drinks were very long. Beers are $7 to $8 bucks and mixed drinks are also available. As long as you are in the home side grandstands there is a nice FAU shop to buy T-shirts and College Branded stuff.
A nice start to Tailgating. The Owl Nation is growing and we have one of if not the nicest small football stadiums in the land. Our children are use to Tailgating at the Big House , The Swamp, and the Orange Bowl but we will be here for Howards House.
Nice clean stadium. Easy to get around and the parking wasn't to far away. We went to see the U.S women's national soccer team play Russia.
A young school with a new stadium needs local support. The tickets are reasonable and it's fun to follow a new team.
Long overdue for a stadium to be built for our own Owls, ec=ven a few bowls on the horizon!Only gripe is with the conceited ticket selling organization at FAU; being a business owner and wanting to support the local team, I have tried twice to get tickets, but was rebuked twice because I was not an alumni or a major donor. What a horrible way top tray your neighbors; I guess Hofstra and NYU grad school don't rate and they expect me to take a class at FAU to get preferential advance season ticket seating or donate $100K???? Not going to happen, they lost a great potential fan (twice).
New facility on FAU campus that is easily accessible from 95 ( watch for the poorly marked speed bumps on the campus roads that seem a bit higher than Normal ) lots of restaurants within a couple miles to eat before a game or event. The stadium is used for football, soccer. Lacrosse and concerts. For a fan it is a nice facility in a safe area, with plenty of parking.
Sure, the new FAU stadium is gorgeous. It has great, comfortable seats, VIP levels and even a VIP Club level, but the cozy stadium is great for other events as well whether it is the annual FAU gala, a visit by the USA Women's soccer team, or local high school football, the place is a gem to watch the action, visit the concessions, and have loads of fun. Parking is a breeze, easy in, easy out. We usually leave our house, which is four miles away 30 minutes before game time, and we're well ensconced in our seats by the time the opening kick takes place. Don't miss it!
