This ocean front park is accessed off A1A and can be a little difficult to find so be careful to look for the sign. It is a very quite oceanfront park. Would not recommend swimming as there is no lifeguard but perfect for sunbathing or walking. Restroom facilities are there as well as an outdoor shower to rinse off salt water and sand.
Easy access to the beach. Picnic tables and bbq grills available. Love the convenience of the walkway to the beach or the direct access. Also, great to have clean restrooms and shower available.
Easy access, washroom facilities, not exactly luxurious, nice deck to search for the Northern Right Whales (Jan-Mar). Just off A1A and close to Palm Coast and many eateries at Flagler Beach.
this is a wonderful almost private beach for the most part. Bathrooms and outdoor shower with plenty of parking. Sure beats Daytona Beach and all the crowds.
In the off-season, anyway. The animal control will come at the beginning of April, but in the winter, this is the BEST place to take your well-behaved canines for some real exercise. Many locals bring their socialized friends for some good canine and human visits and hard running - mostly earlier in the day - eg pre 8 am.Please don't bring aggressive or badly-behaved dogs here and spoil it for the rest!
This beach park is excellent. There is plenty of parking, a clean restroom facility and a place to hose off the sand. The access to the beach is very easy and as other reviewers noted very few patrons. It is very peaceful and relaxing and you will not have a problem finding a spot to set up. Our whole family loved it and have already planned to return. LOVE!
Been visiting Junglehut for 10 years. Living only 4 miles from there, we often go for morning or evening coffee, when it is very quiet. More crowed in past couple years. But still no where near the local beaches. Holds maybe 20 cars. Easy walk to the beach by either thru the sandy area or from the wooden walkway. Very scenic. Peaceful. Go there often just to read. Can often catch dolphins swimming and playing nearby.
No lifeguards, few to no visitors, no high rises, many turtle nests. You can do anything you want. It's like turning the clock back a million years.
Small parking lot with access to beach. Nice bathrooms.Beach area has some rocks, so it's best for walks and running, not swimming.
At low tide you can walk for miles. Almost all the beachfront accommodations are empty this time of year
This is a really nice soft sand beach area in Palm Coast Florida. They offer bathrooms and a outside shower to rinse off in before leaving. You can not drive on the beach area because of the soft sand. The only dislike I have about this area is the amount of rocks in the ocean. Very large rocks that you cannot see through the water. They have a nice sized parking area but it can fill up quickly on holiday's. This area does not have lifeguards but during the "busy season" the sheriffs department patrols the beach.
Not many people know about this place, but WOW what a find. Very private beach in a great location with all the amenities, restrooms, shower and alot of free parking. Will definitely return soon.
One of the few places you can still get on the beach in The Hammock. OK for surf fishing except for the rocks-- expect to lose some rigs. Not usually crowded either.
Just north of the Hammock Dunes bridge on A1A in Palm Coast. Secluded and not very crowded, good parking most of the time. Very nice setting. Facilities but no restaurants, so BYO food and bev.
this is not a park. it is just a place to go to the bathroom when at the beach.. their is hardly any parking... the bathrooms are usually a mess you have a few parking spaces then you have to park in the sand at the road... I can not understand how this place even got a park status. they don't have picnic tables or a play area.. only a few benches then you have the ramp to walk up to the beach and if you are handicapped you can not do that.... what is up with this place... and they recently have a lot of gays hanging out
