This is a must do ! Amazing experience and such a wonderful story of human beings helping the animals and using Medical Know How to achieve a miracle. Not saying much more here as you need to go and enjoy and see a Natural Wonder.
I've been on higher-quality trips that come with a higher price. We were walking past on our last day, it was cool and windy, and they were about to leave so we hopped on. It was a low-budget operation but the guys were very knowledgeable and concerned about local wildlife; we stayed out extra time to FIND some dolphins and we finally did
Fun for all ages! Interesting, other things to do in Clearwater, nice beach and shops along the way.Be ready to have change on hand for parking meters while at beach.Parking at aquarium is free.
First day: we paid for dolphin watch trip, waited just to be told the trip was cancelled because there's not enough people.Next day: when asked to apply $2 coupon that I found, the owner got so angry that he canceled the trip. I definitely can understand an anger of the person who are asked to apply a discount he promised for...Well, this is pretty much enough for me. Others could be luckier than me though...
We took the sunset sail on the Megabite and had a wonderful time with lots of sightings and encounters with dolphins and a beautiful sunset too.
Worth the money, ok the island is a bit rubbish but it was still nice to pick up some shells and go in the water to cool down.We were on the boat for 95 minutes and spotted plenty of dolphins, many near the boat.I also enjoyed the being shown the houses of the rich and famous as we returned to the dock.
We had a good time on the boat, it was comfortable and stable. We were the first tour that day and they started out a little ragged but they got their act together and we had fun and seen about 15 Dolphins.
An enjoyable 90 min trip. We saw a good number of Dolphins and managed to get some pictures. Don't get excited about shell picking on compass island, would have preferred longer with the dolphins . Nice key ring and photo to take away as a reminder of the day
What a rude man! As we got on the boat the boss insisted we had our photos taken. We said we didn't want them and took a seat. He called us back and insisted. We still said no at which point he asked us to get off. I have never in all my life been treated in such a manner and I've travelled a fair amount. I would strongly recommend that you don't use them. I've given them 1 star because at least they refunded the ticket cost promptly.
Unreal ! to be that close to these fabulous mammals is unreal. Great value and a stunning location. Do not miss the opportunity if at all possible.
There are speed boats everywhere that take you out dolphin watching. We had a wonderful experience viewing dolphins.
Excellent boat always see Dolphins shame about other people on the boat who get so excited they just walk in front of you when trying to take a picture
Very disappointed with our trip on this boat. Not only did we not see any dolphins, but the captain and coworker didn't even seem interested in trying that hard to find them. They were having a conversation half the time and very uninterested. Also, the captain was doing some strange game show announcer voice that was fine at first, but became very annoying over time. When we didn't see dolphins, the captain barely apologized. They did offer everyone another free trip in the future, but it was our last day there, so we couldn't take advantage of it. Overall, we were very disappointed.
This was a great dolphin tour. Our only regret is that it didn't last longer! Two hours would be awesome! We had three teenagers and a seven year old in our group, so we hoped that they would all enjoy the experience. From the really sweet woman who greeted us at the registration to the great crew, they all made our experience enjoyable. We saw quite a few dolphins on the trip. The best part was the opportunity to exit the boat and swim in the water and look for shells. We also enjoyed seeing the celebrity homes on millionaire's row that belonged to John Travolta, the former Hulk Hogan home featured on the TV show and a few others. The tropical music was great. Each family had a chance to purchase an optional photo that was already printed at the end. We will definitely take this tour again....don't mind that they don't go into the Gulf of Mexico, as mentioned in other reviews.
We thoroughly enjoyed our ride into the ocean. They were very good and made the trip extremely fun for the adults and kids alike. I would highly recommend this company. (We took another dolphin boat tour and it didn't hold a candle to this one.)
