I was in clearwater beach for a month and brought a bus pass from the CVS pharmacy or you can buy a day pass on the bus. It a great way to get around you can travel all the way down to St petes beach, then you can catch the connection to,go,to,pass-a-Grille.

Took to Publix and to Johns Pass. Drivers were friendly and sevice was great. Could use app to see when the bus was going to be there. Cool.

this is the way to go, when all the snow-birds and spring breakers are here. No worry about parking and a chance to see the views

This is just a fantastic service and can get you really anywhere you want to go. We had two women drivers that were friendly and helpful but the men boy do they hate their jobs. I wonder how they would feel driving in ice and snow every day. They need to appreciate their jobs and where they are driving. I do realize they are not tour guides but they could at least be friendly and pretend to be happy that they are in a warm climate.

A great way to get to the barrier beaches from the mainland every day. Then on weekends you can extend your reach into north county to visit the charming town centers of Dunedin, Palm Harbor, safety harbor, and Tarpon Springs. A real bargain at $2 cause a funding grant mandated the fare. Do be considerate of non trolley users and park at a shopping plaza vs consuming a parking spot in the towns for the whole duration of your trip. Interesting routes to casually see the sights.

It was clean. 2 drivers weren't overly friendly just with asking question about trolley's destination. Return driver curt with explanation of stop request. Tried to use Microsoft tag as suggested on trolley brochure & sign but received invalid reply with every attempt (?user error?). Unfriendly system

This is a fabulous and cheap trolley bus which goes all the way from Clearwater to St. Pete's Beach.

if you don't like the driving in an unfamiliar place The PSTA is for you. We always buy the unlimited weekly or monthly pass and go when we like from St Petes to Clearwater with bus connections everywhere in between. Just grab the bus routes, check the times, and for the most part you can plan your day with the schedules. There are times the bus runs a little late but for $20 a week unlimited use, who can complain.

Public transit in Clearwater, from the beach all the way to St. Petersburg is terrific. While we had a rental car, we only used it for our roundtrip to/from the airport. Public transit is easy and cheap. Buy an all day pass for $4.50/person and hop on and off. We even rode it all the way to Dunedin and Tarpon Springs as well as to Indian Rocks and downtown St. Petersburg. Easy and Safe

This is a very good public transportation system. Their route runs from the Park Street Terminal in Downtown Clearwater to St. Pete Beach. You can make an easy transfer to the Central Avenue Trolley prior to the arrival in St. Pete Beach. The Central Avenue Trolley will take you on to the pier in St. Petersburg and the downtown area. This is a great way to get from Clearwater (and points south along Gulf Blvd) to the Museums and other attractions in downtown St Pete. The trolleys run pretty frequently and there are many, many stops where you can get on or off. If no one is waiting at a stop the trolley keeps on moving along, unless a rider signals they want to get off. The time from Clearwater to St. Pete Beach takes a little more than an hour. You can purchase a 1 day pass for $2.25 per person (seniors 65+) - a one day adult pass is $4.50 per person. Passes can be purchased at CVS locations just about anywhere. If you want a nice experience using public transportation and save some gas and parking headaches, give the trolley a try.
