I'm a Boston guy so the Marlins Park experience is to Fenway Park as I imagine the Chrystal Cathedral is to the Sistine Chapel. However, there is a lot to be said for easy-in, easy-out; a temperature-controlled atmosphere; comfortable seats; great sight lines everywhere, etc. As the Marlins get better, it will be interesting to see the atmosphere ramp up. It's a good take.
If you are visiting Miami a good place to have fun is going to this park, get early, they usually have bands playing in the entrance areas and fireworks at the end of the games. You can get cheap tickets near the entrance as cheap as 15$. Have fun!!
Being a Scot it was so exciting to go to my first baseball game! The atmosphere was great and I would recommend a visit to anyone.
Great seats from every angle, different floors. Promenade allows you to walk, eat and watch the game at the same time. Great food spots at this stadium. Go Marlins!
Great stadium and services - no crowds. Mojitos are great and instead of popcorn and Crackerjacks, have an arepa. Home runs are uniquely recognized and the excitement is genuine ballpark! A must see for visitors during the season!
If you like baseball, then this is for you. Almost every seat is very good. Make sure you eat first, food is very pricy. What normally cost you 7 dollars you will pay 12-15 dollars.
Great place to take your family to watch a game. Very cool environment. You will not duplicate the feel at any other park. First class. Lots to do besides watch a game. Their is a club and food from around the world. They downtown view is amazing and if you get to catch a game with the roof open you are in for a real treat.
It was nice to have the dome closed in the hot miami heat, but with the air on, it was a little to cold. Was sad one day because they were giving out fathers day gifts to all the fathers, but they gave them to kids and women as well, so when we checked in over an hour before the game, they were already out. But great experience other than that.
It was a long time coming for Miami to have it's own ballpark. Finally does and it was well worth waiting for. Now if the Marlins can win another Series in this new park, it will really be a . . . GRAND SLAM!!
Great seats while still feeling like your outside. Food court is very pricey for a baseball game. Not a very affordable family outing.
I love this place. Air conditioned, not too crowded, fun. The Clevelander is fun too. Watching baseball is a joy when you watch it from the left fielder's perspective.
For us it was our first visit to a baseball stadium ever, it wouldn't have matter what city is was in, it would be overwelming for sure! We were impressed by the typical American atmopshere; the food, the drinks, the entertainment, the commercial stuff. Different (but nicer) to as we know it in Europe (Amsterdam), it's all more and bigger. The stadium looked so cool, alsmost brand new and we a nice retractable roof. It was nice to see our first baseball match, even though the Marlins didn't even score a point (lost 1-0 against the Mets). Small dissapointments were the lack of spectators, as well as the expensive and the limited selection of food and drinks. Nevertheless one of our highlights of our visit to Miami, so five stars it is!
the facilities are very nice outside and inside. The outside of the ball park has nice seating areas and historical mementos that make the trip worth while. The inside of the facilities are very modern, it's a bargain if you can get cheap tickets to game. The neighborhood is not the best but there is a lot of Latin culture in little Havana which is a trip on its own. My advice visit and enjoy a nice ball park in Miami.
Because of the closed retractable roof we could finally go to a day game in August in Miami..( 95 degrees outside!) Nice clean ,open ,well laid out stadium . Good seat with a variety of food choices. Some games are offered with a all you can eat option included in the ticket price ( it was a great time for me to take my Dad who Loves hotdogs!) Also went when they have there annual "Bark in the park" event where you can bring your dog with the upper deck sections reserved for the event, that was quite interesting watching the game and also watching all the dogs interact with each other. Will be back for next years...
First, the good. Seats are comfortable ( at least on the Lexus Level) and the view is awesome, looking through the stadium and seeing the Miami skyline in the distance. Parking right next to the stadium is pretty convenient, too.Now the bad. Road signs directing you to the stadium are sorely lacking. Saw more of Miami than I planned, but finally got my bearings when I saw the Goodyear blimp above the stadium. Then I saw the stadium.Food. Or more appropriately - What food? Very limited selection (again, in the Lexus section) and it wasn't good. I've had a lot of ballpark pretzels and this must be the worst - cold and almost no salt. And it's impossible to just get a little mustard. It come flowing out no matter how hard you try for a small bit. I should add I was there for a football game, not the Marlins. Attendance was lacking. Maybe they do better for baseball.
