the heart of the gourmet

While visiting relatives in Pompano Beach, I stumbled upon this little shop in a strip mall. Tucked in the middle of the strip mall, with lots of parking, this little shop had EVERYTHING I needed for last-minute holiday gifts. Without breaking the bank,I was able to find something for everyone and most of the things were already wrapped or easily fit into the adorable bags that they also sell. Best of all, the man who works there - his name is Kevin - helped me to find combinations of oils and balsamics that I would have never thought about, and he even gave me a few recipe ideas! Moral of the story: next year think ahead, order ahead and remember that no stress should be the holiday mantra. I will definitely be back (probably via internet or phone) for gifts for next Christmas. And birthdays. And anniversaries. :-)
