happy valley orchard

We were in Vermont for peak foliage season and wanted cider donuts above anything else. While we were getting directions (we were lost -- easy to do in VT), we asked about cider donuts. We were given fantastic directions to Happy Valley Orchard and we were not disappointed. The cider donuts were still warm and so incredibly good! We each had 2 and it took a lot of will power to not buy (and eat) more. Great cider too. Their produce is so fresh. We didn't have time to pick our own apples, so we bought from the already picked & bagged display. This is a definite stop if you're anywhere near Middlebury -- or if you're like us, from anywhere in Vermont. Fantastic family fun.
