with driving no views from either side. Walking you are able to enjoy the view of the river and dam below. Pretty to look at from a distance at the side of the road or when approaching.
This covered bridge isn't too far from downtown, but we went just to see the bridge and it was a bit of a disappointment. It's very newbut impressive. There is an uncovered pedestrian walkway, but we didn't see a safe place to park and walk. You travel through it to get to The Morgan Horse Farm.
My husband and I often travel to find covered bridges and we knew we were in Vermont when we stumbled upon the Pulp Mill Covered Bridge. This bridge is worth time to explore and photograph. I am glad it is preserved.
The covered bridges of New England are a unique favorite of mine....This bridge was just lovely.... it was like stepping back in time and fit right in with the colonial town of Middlebury
Just west of the main district. It's a good-sized bridge that's lighted and doesn't creek too much when you drive through it. Due to traffic and trees there's only one good spot to take pics, just downhill on the road is a trailhead for a park.
