We won passes to Amazone through a fundraiser. We arrived, turned in our pass to play, bought some tokens and started our day! My 6 year old son loved it! He played for hours and loved the games. Tokens are more with a credit card, so try to bring cash. Most games are 2-4 tokens, but it seems like the games (ex. Basketball) last longer than other places. Minimum for that was a minute, but my son played for 2+ on 2 tokens at times. We also purchased a kids meal, since you couldn't being in your own food. He chose pizza with fruit cup, chips, a drink, a toy and a free coupon to come back! One in 6 kids meal bags had the coupon...it was under $6 with tax for the meal which I don't think it bad. Usually when places say you can't bring food in they gouge you, and this place was very reasonable. We will definitely be back!! Bonus- it was the 10th birthday of the facility, so my son met Elsa, Spider-Man, and got a birthday cookie to go!!
There are 2 play areas one for toddlers. There is an arcade and a laser tag room. There are a lot of tables to eat or sit at but you cannot bring in your own food. They have a large variety of food to purchase. They have a party room but no one was using it when I was there. I was disappointed that they don't have a family restroom it would only make sense since they cater to families with kids. The kids had fun. Be prepared for a lot of noise.
We love playing here but it's pretty clear that they do not clean frequently at all. We often arrive at 10am right when the open and there is regularly candy wrappers, dirt, and grime to be found all over (including the middle of the floor). I mean come on can you run a vacuum at night after closing? There a lot of duct taped areas and it could us updating. Very fun place, we just make sure to wash our hands often while there.
The children like it. As an adult, I see a place that is impossible to clean, a festering petri dish of drippy noses and foot sweat. The food is barely edible. That said, it is much better that that place with the mouse mascot. Sort of like an indoor carnival, game arcade, laser tag and playground.
This is a great place to take your kids to burn off some steam! It is clean, with a wonderful jungle gym for kids of many ages. They have a large arcade, and also yummy food for your little ones to recharge their batteries. I have a 15 month old and the toddler area was very enjoyable for him.My only suggestion is to PLEASE somehow section the toddler play area off from the larger children's play area. The older children are not supervised, and they run amuck in the little ones area, trampling them over. My little one, 15 months old, got knocked down a few times, the older kids are very aggressive when playing. I stayed by his side the whole time, but they almost ran me over as well. This was on a very Un-crowded weeknight, so I would never take him there on a weekend unless it was roped/gated off. Mine also wanted to keep going into the big kids area and I continued to have to chase him back, almost getting knocked over with the 10 year olds coming down their slide. Please somehow seperate the two sections!
My sister and I went to Amazone last night (We have 3 children, ages 1, 1 1/2 and 3). Although we knew the activities our kids could participate in would be limited, they had a ton of fun! We chose the day and time wisely, however, and our experience may have been different if we went on a crowded weekend. Our experience at the other family fun parks less than a mile from Amazone were probably the biggest disasters of 2014. Note to self, never take your 1 and 3 years olds mini golfing.... or to a bounce house attraction during their annual Halloween Party. The toddler play area is very cute and safe. Our kids loved climbing up the cushion slide and loved the tunnels to climb through. Our oldest enjoyed the larger kids area, although if there were more than a few kids in the larger area he may have been too scared to try it. I think the only suggestion I would give for the toddler area is to make it completely blocked off from the "big kids" and main area, because our 1 years olds kept sprinting that direction and almost got run over a few times. They also sprinted up the ramp to the arcade area. I wish we could have relaxed a little more and let them play without having to chase after them constantly. Oh, and add a couch to the toddler area. :) The arcade was clean and updated, they had great food choices and the workers were very friendly! I liked the fact that they gave us dollar off coupons for next time. It turned out to be a cheap and fun way to spend an hour or two on a week day! We will be back!
I bring my 12yr old grandson and a friend, and my 3yr old granddaughter here quite often. They always have a great time! The 12yr olds love the laser tag and the arcade games and my 3yr old thoroughly enjoys the playground. I left there with her crying because she didn't want to leave! They have a super package for $60 that gets the two boys in the laser tag (games every 20 minutes but you may have to wait longer depending on how crowded it is), 100 tokens, a pitcher of pop, and a pizza! Great time! Great deal ...especially on a rainy or super hot day! SUPER STAFF!!
The staff here is wonderful. They made our experience even better. Lots of activities for ages 12 and under. The food was basic snack food but the kids loved that we didnt have to leave to eat. It can get loud if there are largergroups but overall we will be back again!
We just had a birthday party for out 5 yr old on 6/28. Party was sch @12:30 and was told we could not get into the room more then 10 mins before time due to other parties. Came a lite early and was let in party room early due to no other party. Set up everything and still ha a little time before people would arrive. My 5 yr old wanted to go start to play but was told she could not have her band until party time (note she was the only child there). We had to pay $8 to get a band so she could pay early. Then we asked if we could have some drinks before the food and was told they couldn't bring hem out until the food came out (which was an hour later from playing). We paid extra for pitchers of soda for parents who were waiting with children. Manager (I'm assuming) came in and stated that since we did set up early that we would have to leave early (2 hour party) do to wanting to be far to everyone about the 2 hour limit. Told her we understood but they ha let us in early and no other party was going on. Ok, we had 14-16 kids and then their parents, paid for an extra pizza, 3 pitchers prior to food, and was out by sch time to mid out that we were the ONLY party sch for that day. Our host were excellent and children had fun but I will NEVER book a party there again or warn everyone I know not to either due to his experience.
This is a great place for kids. The playground is huge and great for small kids. My teens enjoyed the laser tag. They also have different games where you receive tickets like at Chuck Cheese. Prices were reasonable and would definitely go here again. It was raining that day so this was the perfect place to go.
This place has a great theme and my kids loved getting their energy out. The price is very good. The downside is the place is so unclean i had to take my kids home and bathe them and burn their clothes. I would not ever eat food from there. So i will not be a repeat vistor untill they clean the place.
We had a birthday party there. The kids and some adults even went in to play laser tag. Had a blast. Plus the food isn't so bad either.
I've taken my 7yo girl and 3 yo son to Amazone several times over the last few years, more so in the winter when kids get too cooped up in the house. They always have a great time! There's enough to do in the play area to keep them occupied for a couple hours. By then they have worked up an appetite. We usually don't eat at Amazone, the food is what you'd expect, I guess. Mostly pizza and finger foods. Otherwise, there are several fast food joints or restaurants nearby for afterwards. I have experienced only two occasions where my daughter had come to me upset because of other kids, and that was from other kids hogging an obstacle. No biggie. Perfect teaching moment on how NOT to behave. They take off and play elsewhere. Problem solved. Sometimes you have to watch that bigger kids aren't watching out for the little ones, but staff monitors the play area. There's also a toddler area separate from the main zone. In regards to the bathrooms, they're not the cleanest, but unfortunately, this seems to be more the rule than exception anywhere anymore. I haven't taken kids through Laser Tag or the arcade.
This is a really good place for family's to hangout for the night and just plan have fun. I go there alot with my fiends to just hang out. For the little kids there is a fun jungle themed playground it's great for anytime of the year because its all indoors. The lazer tag is fun too it's like a little battle zone! The littler kids like 3-5 should just stay in the playground there are some pready big players in there. They also have a arcade with many games and it's just a really fun place to hang out.
We went to Amazone with a bunch of my niece's friends. She really liked it and had a good time. Gets expensive, though, for retired persons to buy any food wanted and there is not much of a choice. Would like to see healthier choices.
