If you want to have fun shooting, this is THE place to go!! Excellent place to shoot some clay for any level of shooting. Very friendly and knowledgable. Will definitely go back again. My husband and I loves it!!

We are not a gun family. We don't own any, and don't shoot ever. My partner had never shot a shotgun, and I have shot only at Boy Scout Camp (once) since my teens. My son has shot only twice (at camp). My stepson has never shot. We have been to Hidden Haven twice in the last 16 months, the last time in June 2014. Both times Jeff worked with us. We rented guns, bought ammo, and were provided with hearing protection. He took us to a shooting station and stayed with us and gave us tips and help. Everyone had a good time, and because no one had experience, we all got to shoot poorly as a group without judgement. I don't hunt, and am not interested. But it is exciting to watch the clays explode in front of you when you pick one off. I think this is a good activity for a family, even a family of non-shooters. It is always good to try new and to try and understand what other people see in an activity. And, it provided much for us to talk about as we discussed guns in society and the pros and cons. Be aware that Jeff is an avid gun rights enthusiast- as one might anticipate. You likely will get to hear his point of view and I imagine that may detract for some. For us, it was just another piece of the experience. We've been twice and if we vacation again in the area, I suspect we will return.
