charleston falls preserve

This is a treasure and the view changes every time you visit. From frozen waterfalls, to fall colors it's a beautiful and peaceful place to visit. Easy, wide hiking paths.

This is a beautiful, well-maintained park. The waterfall is gorgeous. Trails are wide and clean. Wish we had had time to walk other trails.

It is a small park for a place with a waterfall. A nice place for a walk. We have taken our dog there several times for walks although not all the trails are good for an animal on a leash. If you live near tipp city i recommend it for a relaxing and scenic walk through the woods.

Charleston Falls is fun for kids of all ages, you can hike directly to the falls, or take the long trail thru the woods and prairie. You can take a natural staircase all the way to the base of the falls or you can look down from the top if you aren't physically able, so people of all ages can go and spend some time.

As you venture into this park you will run across a way to go down to the falls. Well made walkway once you are done but the climb down is not for someone with difficulties. Nevertheless, you can walk on top and there are some great trails to take. It's like a little piece of quiet. The falls are beautiful. Great place for a tiny wedding or special ceremony. Make sure you call and set it up, they get very upset if you surprise them. But worth the trip

I always love Charleston Falls. It has beautiful shaded, well defined trails and regular "hiking trails" for those who want to strike out. Nice picnic area and I love the "decks" in the field areas.

we went in july and it was hot that day but this trail was shady which made it nice to hike . if you dont want to hike the whole thing when you get to the y stay to right for the falls . if you take the steps , they go to the bottom of falls , or stay on trail to be at the top of falls . there was not much water coming over the falls when we went .I have heard that early spring or fall is better . very easy hike .
