durant winery

We are not wine people, but we enjoy good wine. We chose to visit Durant because the also have an olive grove with tasting room next door. We did not expect the casual attitude and the unpretentious description of each wine we sampled. We enjoyed the view so much that we cancelled plans to visit other vineyards that day and simply enjoyed Durant's excellent wine from Adirondack chairs overlooking the valley.

...and great wine, very knowledgable servers, and great outdoor setting. We had some food in car, so ended up here for several hours. A rare sunny afternoon in January combined with this location and good wine, made the high point of the weekend!
