Love this park. It has great waking, running, and biking trails. Great trails along the river and an awesome dog park. My dog loves going to this dog park!! Great place for families.
my dog loves it there is a grassy area to play ball then another area wooded where they can chase birds or gophers dig holes whatever. huge areas both plus all the trails.
What a wonderful park along the Willamette River. It's easy to forget that you're in an urban setting when you head to Minto Brown Park. We have enjoyed hiking and roller blading the trails, many people bike the trails and there are oodles of black berries for the picking in early fall. For younger kids there's a play area, and there's lots of space for everybody to relax. Great destination for an afternoon!
This park is tucked away on the Willamette River. Just off River Rd. south you will find this park with nature trails and a sprawling area for dogs. Most all the trails are paved for riding your bike. I took my daughter's grad pictures here and they were amazing You can walk down to the river's edge or stroll past creeks. A nature lover's paradise !
I wish I lived closer. This park was so pretty and has great trails for walking and running. The maps are everywhere so you can't really get lost. The views are spectacular. We had a great time exploring the park, seeing the geese, listening to the sounds and enjoying nature. It was a great start to our day!
Love to take our pups there and watch them play with other dogs..great dog people and fun and wonderful dogs at play.
We have been to the park several times to bike and to pick wild blackberries. The staff are friendly and courteous and the paved multi-use trail is wonderful. Just wish it was longer! Would love to see the bridge built between this park and Riverside.
Hubby and I are there three days a week for our power walk.....and to dog-watch. So many beautiful, friendly doggies (we have a fat lazy cat) and the walking paths are awesome! I have walked alone in the mornings when hubby was at work - and feel pretty safe although I walk along the main road when alone. The paths wind through beautiful forests, lakes and ponds and spring there is simply gorgeous!
I have seen a cougar out in the park but it was night time I was with three other people and I only seen the face and eyes but no body he or she is really snicky once he or she gets ur sent he or she seems to fallow u around every time you go to the park it dose not seem to like to be in the main part of the park but on the side where there is a graval trail the only time u will spot it is at night.
there everywhere me and my whole family went for a walk and came back with bumps all over our bodys do not recommend going there with out plenty bug spray
This is a lovely area for a picnic, a walk or a romp with your dog. I saw bikers and joggers as well as people just enjoying the open air.
This park has everything for the person who enjoys nature. Plenty of paved trails, leash free dog area, wild flowers, and wild life. Several unsaved trails for the adventurer as well.
This is an island that is mostly underwater in the winter. It is a terrific late spring, summer, fall spot for families who like to walk, jog, ride bikes, roller blade, walk dogs, and be active outdoors. There are farm stands to buy fresh produce in the summer and lots of nice views of the and countryside.
Sited along the banks of the Willamette River and an adjoining slough, most of the park has been left as natural area. Great birding for water birds, osprey, Bald Eagles. Lots of walking/bike paths, and even an off-leash dog exercise area.
Bikes, running playing. When Riverfront Park's new bridge is finished and they are connected it will be more to do
